This doesn't feel "Parisian" at all to me. It feels as though they have copied American Southwestern style and are trying to steal it and claim it as their own.
That's hilarious 😂 I've never been to America, but I can tell you this style you are looking at is very common in Europe. Spaces are small, there are houses in Europe that are even older than 'America' itself. There is no appropriation going on here, only thing I can say that was adopted is perhaps the open plan layout.
@@AfricancoolChic Yeah, I agree. It's definitely not "Southwestern" style at all! I live in the American Southwest and our traditional decor shares nothing in common with this style. Southwestern style is more adobe, bright, but earthy colors, rough-hewn, and curved lines. Think an adobe structure in New Mexico. There are some Americanized elements to the design here, for sure--the Noguchi-style table and quintessential American sofa, the "sectional." And the lucite chairs at the dining table are quite American. I can see where the beams feel American to her, but that is definitely something that America borrowed from Europe. But overall, the feel of the apartment is quite European in nature. The world is growing so small that soon it will be difficult to tell, though...we have internet and can easily borrow from each other!

Witch sharm? 🧙🎃
I do not like the bathtub placement. I would feel closed in. It's a nice place.
I don't see any Parisian charm here, it's all too modernized here.

apartment is in Paris, space has spirit of old parisian apartments, but style is not parisian and even without that it has character and charm
