I think vacuum setting is the strength of pull, not just for stimulation mode which is the mode you want to use for a letdown, vs expression mode which is when you might reduce the vacuum and increase the cycle.
Hello! I alternate between Medela Pump in style and Medela symphony but I have to return the symphony soon and the pump in style is just ok. I was wondering if you are able to use any medela parts with this?
It is my primary pump! Because it’s classified as a “portable” pump, they say you shouldn’t use it as a primary- but this is 100% false. It empties me better than any other pump actually. Highly recommend it, especially with their liquid kit. I’m not a sponsor for them, just my honest opinion!
I’ve also used the portable Medela Freestyle flex. The flange set up is difficult to work with and the diaphragms constantly need replaced- it’s cheap feeling too. Don’t recommend! Also to answer your other question- yes this pump is gentle! Always start with lower settings
I ordered this pump during their ‘22 Labor Day sale and it still comes with the bottle nipples! I’ve been pumping/breast feeding for 15 months and one of my favorite pumps I’ve used so far, close second is BabyBuddah. I’ve also used spectra s2, Elvie, medela hospital grade, and hand pumps.
I’m glad you like it and that it came with the nipples! I find it so odd that the company told me that they don’t include the nipples anymore, yet mine came with them! The strong pull on the babybuddah is a no for me, but I’m glad it’s a success for you! I have an unopened Spectra S2, used a Medela Freestyle flex for 19+ months and the Willow as well. Pumpables is by far my favorite !

Hi! Yes you can! You can use your Medela tubing and flanges with it!
Is the pumpables your primary pump or do you have another one?
