First of all, get a new mic my man. Your music is worth while!!! 🎉 You've got a really interesting fusion going on. Most people might not like stepping out of their musical boundaries, which is sad. 😢 But you've got this Beatles/ sgt. Pepper thing going on with Green Day guitar and effects. Just make sure you adjust your equalization to accommodate both ends of the spectrum. And always use a pop filter when you're recording high strung instruments like the violin. 🎻
I appreciate the comments. Yeah, I should get real equipment. I'm recording with my amp straight into my PC and then using a voice recorder essentially (a zoom mic) for violin. These are mostly meant to be demos as I get better at guitar. Eventually I want to start a band and have an actual vocalist do a lot of the violin lines. But I will look into a better mic for sure.
