That was so hilarious.
The WA causes near instant Frostbite and it has hyperarmor. It's the best part of the weapon. The regular attacks have less range and are slower with its spin dancing
Chase, I appreciate how, when that phantom cast scarlet Aeonia, you let him have that moment to do the cool thing. And then afterwards you immediately tossed a couple dragon pots just to let them know, you could’ve punished it. Respect.

Those AoE ashes of war seems to be better for invasions than for dueling for the most part. These showcases really point out the weapon specialities quite well.

I really wish that the R1s could have a unique R2 only after the first R1 with more range like the spin is building more momentum like the Zamor Knights.
Yeah something like the transformed hunter's axe's charged r2 from Bloodborne, with the double spin.
Can we get some flail action coming up too? I don't think I've seen any of those showcased yet also great content Chase! I learned so much off of you and your constant great attitude towards everything is just amazing! Its very rare to find people as wholesome as you in souls games especially.

Vergil cosplay was great! That was a rival character in the series Devil May Cry that he was doing his best to mimic.
The Vergil mods are actually super cool, they've pretty much nailed the attacks for the Katana

Have you considered showcasing the cranial vessel candle stand or gargoyle’s black blade? Both are pretty good weapons with extremely unique and interesting ashes of war. Surge of Faith has an excellent AoE explosion and hyper armor while corpse wax cutter is like vacuum slash with the destined death health drain effect
I recommend St Trina's Torch for it is indestructible

I would run frost pots to complement this build, and volcano pots are great for resetting the frost meter.
Running fire pots resets frost buildup so he can get the frostbite damage twice
@@horkyjorky yeah, volcano pots also do that and they're easier to hit with because of the lingering AoE.

I’ve been leaning on the Zamor sword for a while in PvE (on switch with Gransax) but haven’t had the nerve to run it PvP. Most impressive! Especially the invasions.

Welcome back to another elden ring weapon showcase
I remember asking you to do a weapon showcase on this pretty early on in the series, glad to see you finally do it. I personally love this weapon, and seeing it used to its fullest potential is nice. Nobody uses this thing, so it's surprisingly easy to catch people off guard with the weapon art, plus you do get a little hyper armor with it I think, as I've definitely poised through multiple attacks to get it off before. If you're able to hit them with the initial thrust into the ground, you're almost guaranteed to take at least half of their health (if they're a 60 vig build) if not outright kill them. Plus it just looks cool

I wish this weapon had a little extra reach to it. Still one of my favorites though, I like to power stance it with the Bloodhounds Fang
I also really like the crouch L1 with power stanced Curved Greatswords. It comes out quick and really throws people off

I'd really like to see a dagger, reduvia is the obvious choice but I'm sure chase could make any dagger look good. Also some incants/sorcery builds would be cool

Such an enjoyable vid! I know there are a lot of complaints about the range and speed of zamor curved sword but i think theyre not that noticable in the game when played. Its my favorite weapon and seeing you pvp with it was really satisfying! keep up the great work, its rare i sit through an entire 20 minute vid and enjoy it the entire time!

I had to go look up the Zamor stuff. That all looks real cool. Surprised more people aren't wearing it, visually.
Wow, that frost cloud hits quite a few times.
It looks cool but has bad poise, and the area is pretty obscure. Anyone that found themselves getting wrecked by the frost trolls and mega hands in that area likely weren't down to explore, and finding the path to giants hero grave requires pretty thorough exploration of said area, plus the dungeon itself is pretty tough imo. With that said, the sword is great, really good in pve and invasions, and decent in duels, since a lot of people don't really know what it is. If you're patient with the weapon art, you can bait them into getting aggressive, and then punish them for it, as you get hyper armor.
I imagine this weapon is going to see an uptick in use though, as almost every uncommon weapon does after chase does a showcase. Hell, these showcases are the entire reason I run dual urumi on my dex build, never would have thought to give it a try otherwise
I mained duel wielding the Zamor with the bloodhound fang. They’re both curved greatswords. I know they do different stat build ups but I really liked the look of them together

I'd actually love to see some "style" build show cases. Like, elemental focused, or bleed/status focused. Or some complete builds rather than weapon focuses, say using a faith weapon with supporting incantations, or int focused with backup spells for variety. Would mix things up and be interesting i think.
But for a weapon, maybe trying twin collosal, or... I'd really love to see you try to make Giant-Crusher work in PVP lol.
He actually has a lot of those types of videos from before the showcase series but they are invasions only. Would be cool to see some of that style in duels as well

I power stance this and magma dragon Curved sword its pretty good. either weapon art is great but for bosses i defs go with the Zamor ice storm thing. REALLY great frost build up

You should do giants red braid stagger on it's jump is insane and even on base dual attack you can stagger full radhan sets such a fun weapon

The wall hacks with Zamor Ice Storm was a thing of beauty.
Most of the time I am not an intelligent player but once I used the spell version of the aow on a hybrid int strength build and it was way weaker.
Maybe you should try it on the incoming wizard stream :)
You should do golems halberd it's a beefy colossal weapon that doesn't block your screen and it's pretty fast swinging. Favorite thing to put Horan loux on it gets a really good strength scaling too I think it gets a high tier A scaling for that and if you buff with lightning armament it has like 900 or so ar

Yeah. Eleanora's poleblade ash of war does insane poise damage. You do not want to trade into it for any reason

Would you, yes _you,_ reading this. Maybe you would be so kind as to recommend a good weapon or two, that scales good with int.? Preferably quite early.
I have only killed Margit the fell so far. Weapons I have: Carian Knight's Sword, Lazuli Glintstone Sword, Troll Mage's Sword & the Meteoric Ore Blade.
Thinking about acquiring the Moonveil soon too. I also have the Meteorite Staff and a few ok spells.
(Rock Sling, Carian Slicer, Carian Greatsword, Lorettas Bow, Glintstone Pebble & Arc, Rock Blaster and Scholars Armament + a few more, like Glintblade Phalanx and Magic Glintblade) So.. Any tips to weapons or even spells and gear/medallions ect. i should get For this build I would truly appreciate it.
And one more thing! Since I'm not sure what the best is. (BTW. I basically exclusively play PvE) What should i level in addition to Int. and offc. vigor? Strength? )I believe I'm on 22 atm.) Dex? Should I level my Arcane up a bit, from 8 or what it was starting (Astrologer)
