Luckily, it's not a part of the game--it's a bug and they will fix it. Hopefully, soon. Something funny to add... Firedogs don't seem too fazed by these bugged builds. That's saying something about how strong firedogs are atm.
@@DanRidley I should first mention that the devs have or are addressing this bug. They blocked the Lucifer from all PvP modes on Monday (start of new war season). Hopefully, you won't have to worry much about this bug but firedogs were working great. And just because this bug was OP, it didn't mean an automatic win. I was messing around mostly and died more than not playing this glitched build. The match I uploaded on TH-cam was one where we all agreed we might try to win a match and laughed while saying as much.
@DanRidley Well, I don't like to fight fire dogs lol. Those sneaky, pesky OP builds are a thorn. But there are so many factors and I'll try to touch on a few... I prefer leg builds so the sooner I can get a warning and prepare for an incoming fire dog, the better. Being close to structure to push the firedog into it. By pushing against a non-moveable structure, you're better able to manipulate and position the firedog to your advantage. Second best, staying close to a teammate with a heavy build... Classic controls give more directional power when moving your leg builds than steer by camera. Fuse everything for power. E.g., movement parts would have the decrease in power consumption, cabins fused for power, engine fused for power... Too much detail but that's how I like to, basically, look at it.
I was using Nidhoggs. The build is on the Exhibition. But something is broken with Lucifer on a Hadron... All kinds of weapons are being paired with this combo...
@dog_love3568 lol. No, this is just a hot and controversial issue, it seems. There was a bug and they think I should've held myself above using it.... Just a fluke. Crossout is still tedious as ever and people want to love it but it's easier to hate it...
Yeah, I wouldn’t feel right roflstomping other teams via a blatant “dev oversight”. I’ll just stick to all my fused relics lol. Though I will say I tried this out in pvp for like 3 matches n I’ll admit it was a lot of fun but I wouldn’t use em in CW
That's fine. A lot of people didn't feel the same way as you and they just happened to be on the enemy teams. Sometimes, it was all four on the other team. We (with regular builds) were able to 3v4 a team with 2 bugged builds on their team so it wasn't some god-build invincible glitch. I had my regular lineup in and we tried a few matches as usual... But similar to firedogs, the Nidhoggs killed almost as fast--IF they could close the distance. The cannon versions were annoying to encounter as they got you from midrange and if there wasn't cover, it was over. The main counter against the bugged Nidhogg hovers were firedogs... That's saying something about firedogs, I think. And, another commentor said they patched it already. I haven't checked but I'm hoping that they did for the new war season. At the end of the day, this entire experience was a first for me and provided excessive entertainment... From using bugged builds, to listening to all the hall monitors voice their concerns and opinions. Hopefully, it's all over lol
@@rock_and_ink Yeah no I got you. I’ve just got so much time/money/effort invested into my account that the slight possibility of being banned, even over _their_ mistake is something I’m very weary of. Like I’d use those builds for fun in reg pvp all day long just cuz it’s something new/funny. Anyway no judgement I’m sure it was fun. You’d just think that stuff this obvious wouldn’t make it through beta testing - but here we are lol
@Megalith79 Understandable. But the only difference between cw and PvP is the in-game reward. Nothing is lost to the developers, nor Sony (PSN). Taking advantage of a bug to take something from either of those parties is what those parties would consider an exploitation worth account-banning for. E.g., asking for a refund for a car pack that you actually used and/or made videos of using. There was a bug with Assemblers just awhile back. Everyone, who could, used the glitched Assemblers in cws. The only difference here is that the weapon involved is a weapon in a current Battle Pass which technically shouldn't be unlocked yet. To unlock the glitched 10% reload Lucifer, you'd have to use real money (Cross Crowns) to buy the levels. To unlock the 25% reload Lucifer (to make the bugged builds slightly better), you'd have to spend even more money to get Lighters to trade in. So, most of the complaints from people are from people who don't want to spend any real money to get the bugged builds to work. An unfused Lucifer does not produce the same results. The Assemblers also have a skill wall for the most effective use. And that was no different even when glitched. But no one was banned and the complaints were minimal. I think that's because the Assemblers were still accessible, even if slightly inflated in price. So, as you can imagine, I'm a bit wary and critical of the criticism I've been getting. And especially of the hall monitors who have decided for Sony and/or Gaijin that accounts should be banned. Some make comments (not just to me) reveling that accounts should or will be banned. But those people have no authority to make such decisions and don't know enough of life to make proper decisions in their own personal lives, much less in those of others. I also didn't take your initial comment as judgmental. That's why I left a reply. Most of this is not just for you but in hopes others will take some time to read and think.
Are you even in the Discord? They never posted anything about the Lucifer until they blocked it from PvP matches. Don't spread misinformation based on photoshopped pics nor statements from people with no authority for said actions.
I don't know that it is. I honestly don't know who you are and with what authority you make that statement. I'm also not making an argument for/against "exploiting isn't cheating". If a clan is using relics and I decide to spend money to get the same relics, how is that cheating? So, if people are using a Hadron Lucifer build in cws and I feel like I need to use the same build to compete, how is that cheating? Your argument would probably be: it's a bug so be the bigger man and just don't stoop to their level... Or something along those lines. Oh, holier than me... Keep your self-righteousness to yourself.
@@rock_and_ink I'm noone in particular with no authority to speak of. Shrug, it's done with now so no real harm done I spose. cry me a river. It's Crossout, baby, they're gonna fix it as soon as any rando cheapskate will be able to grind it. Until then, they're gonna "collect statistics"
@dung_beetle_123 I wish I had your skillset to be able to not just play with, but put together the builds you use in both PvP and CWs.... Keep up your videos!
Uranium is uranium, thanks for uploading and showing the bug. I'm glad it's been patched 😆 seems pretty obviously broken.
I appreciate you. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
THAT was fun to use xD ahhh i hope the devs give us a proper high caliber auto cannon some day

Not that I've heard--I haven't tried it since that day. But you never know when a remnant of some old code resurfaces lol
