- Discover the fusion of Japanese and Danish design in this exclusive house architecture tour located in Tokyo, Japan. This project is a collaboration between Tokyo-based design studio, Keiji Ashizawa, and Copenhagen-based Norm Architects.
Experience the Kinuta Terrace apartments, originally built in the 1980s, now renovated with a unique blend of natural and industrial aesthetics. The renovation features the Kinuta Collection, a series of 12 tailor-made furniture pieces from Japan’s leading wooden furniture manufacturer, Karimoku.
Immerse yourself in spaces designed for transparency, light, and shadow, where nature is integrated into the apartment, creating a sanctuary-like home setting in the heart of Tokyo.
Witness how modern urban dwellers can connect with a sense of nature through thoughtful design details inspired by Japanese temples and gardens.
Join us on this architectural journey where Norm Architects and Keiji Ashizawa share their design philosophy and process.
