It almost did. It kept descending as it raced across the lake in low light. Before I knew it, we were only 2 meters above the water. Pulled up just in time.

There is another way to make sure people can reuse your material. You have to click the button in youtube studio. It will have it at the bottom saying this is free use.
Correction: The video states that the water is 3.9C, but that is only true below 200 meters. At the surface, it can be 16C
