So when I’m able to take down my braids and stuff and wear my natural and be confident about it IT IS a flex (sorry for the ranting I just had to clarify🤭🤭❤️)

Do protective hairstyles leave your hair alone and it will grow. Give it 1-2 years. Trust the process and pray!

Keep in mind her hair is blown out/ stretched most likley. Possibly try blow drying your hair on a cooler setting to stretch if you would like to recreate these styles or look into products that were made to sleek and shine 4c hair ! It is possible

I don’t know what’s going on with my hair my hair has definitely grew over the years I js break my hair a lot and my mama permed my hair when I was younger but my hair somehow went back to natural and i don’t how how to work with natural hair😢 (it’s in its awkward stage) been ever sense it got permed or maybe it’s just the breakage it’s not very healthy but we’re working on it.
if you still have straight ends, you're hair is transitioning. but some tips i have to help with breakage would be:
dont use detangling tools, learn how to properly finger detangle
only detangle while wet and/or with conditioner in hair
dont leave the ends of ur hair in the open (not tucked in a protective style) for over a week
keeping your hair stretched helps with tangling (if your hair is transitioning, having stretched hair helps blend the two different textures)
wash your hair every week or two
dont rip through knots, carefully pull them apart even if its one hair at a time
be patient
find out your hair porosity to find out what you need to do to keep it moisturized
don't manipulate it much
learn how to trim your own ends, dont cut off more than you need. but dont cut too little for the sake of length. learn how to tell when its time to trim and how much
