    Hello Marshall,
I'm delighted that you have done a video on San Fernando, my hometown and it's cuisine I haven't been back home in several years so I found the video quite nostalgic. I wish somebody had advised you differently on the food choices in San Fernando. I'm confident you would have enjoyed something much better. In the 60's Everybody's Cafe was the "go to" restaurant and the place to be seen at in San Fernando for special occassions (though my family seldom went there since we were poor and couldn't afford it more than once in a great while). We did get invited by some of our "richer" relatives and friends who could afford it even back then.
    Great video though.

I think crickets are best eaten by frying like a crunchy fried crickets. Next time when you eat Filipino foods, try to pair it with a glass of beer 🍺. Foods taste better when you have beer or wine but since you’re not in a fancy restaurant and you’re eating exotic foods, beer is a good pair . Thanks for the Fernando vblog.

It cost us more than 7,000 pesos for 6 diners I guess that when you eat in an overhyped turo turo carinderia with no posted prices then they can boss around the vloggers and make their own rules. Beware if you don't ask for the prices of the servings in the saucers then you will get a surprise in your bill. Another tourist trap in San Fernando.

Silly , not allowing to take videos on the food. You've been to classier places that, that allowed you to take videos.
Just a suggestion, Try to vist balaw balaw restaurant at Angono Rizal. Exotic food and at the 2nd and 3rd floor you could see art works paintings sculptures and antic collection of the owner. And 2 or 3 kilometers from there is the Blanco gallery. A family of artist painters has put up their own place to showcase their works. Open to public.
