Honestly I don’t know if there was a decent solution to trying to satisfy a fight where someone’s eye has been cut out. I don’t know how I would solve it.
What if Alicent stabbed Rhaenyra? No one stops her in time and Rhaenyra fails to grab her knife hand in time - thus taking a terrible wound to the shoulder at best or at worst gets stabbed through the heart?

I hate that people keep saying Aemond was "bullied" by Aegon, Jace, & Luc. They TEASED him about not having a dragon and you really only see that in ONE scene. He took it negatively because he was an emo kid in general.
It is literally stated in the show that it is a common occurrence. Other than that pls go improve your media literacy, the show did everything it could other than writing it in red big letter to imply the dynamic, as I already said even stating it out loud.

I just want to point out that none of Alicent's children recieved cradle eggs actually. Otherwise if they did she wouldn't be making comments about the Strong boys' eggs
they did receive eggs they just never hatched.

@@ladystephanie3132The consensus of sources does seem to point to they all didn't get eggs. I checked the book, wiki, and Reddit. So for book canon that does seem to be the case. But show canon implies that at least Aegon would have gotten a cradle egg, with how he was celebrated on his 2nd birthday, and King Vizzy at least *trying* at that point. I'm inclined to believe Daeron as well, because how would he claim a dragon if he was always in Oldtown? He would have had to be very young, Alicent's protectiveness wouldn't have allowed it at that age. And if the eldest and youngest got eggs, why not the middle two?

So I don’t see this ever happening because, They aren’t at the red keep they are in Driftmark Corlys’s domain and Luke is his heir’s heir. Trying to take Luke’s eye could start war. Great Video.
I don’t think that matters, I’m assuming the guards are the Kingsgaurd meaning Coryls opinion is irrelevant. Second I doubt Coryls would start his own war with Viserys over this. Because many already see this as acceptable justice, and the fact it’s an open secret that Luc is a bastard.
Corlys would be stupid to try to refuse that. Especially after Aemond just tamed Vhagar.
It easily fits into the medieval/Westerosi justice system.

Yes at this time he has more wealth than the Lannisters, also Vhagar isn't as useful at this time as you think. Aemond can't ride her at this time due to the injury also Daemon and Rheanny's would be more than a match for Vhagar, and Syrax at this time is more than capable of soloing Sunfyre (especially considering how drunk Aegon always is) also Seasmoke is present remember blacks always had more dragons, Dreamfyre isn't even a factor (rider won't fight so dragon will stay put or fly off). On top of that that's even assuming they get to their dragons. Pretty sure half the guards in the room are Corlys's and only Four King's Guard are present. Daemon can easily handle Cole. Many seem to forget Daemon only lost in the Tourney because he started celebrating before forcing Cole to surrender.

King V would never hurt or punish his favorite side of the family. If Aemond took Luke eye out however I feel king v would make a punishment towards Aemond. King v is nothing but consistent with defending Rt n her kids.

What if Rhaenyra died of the cut Alicent gave her on Driftmark (like an infection). Is Jace capable of leading the black faction at his age? If not, who'd take up the mantle? And what punishment would Alicent face in this situation? these are only a few questions I have for this scenario, I'm sure you can think up a whole lot more.

2:10 to be fair the old king only allowed a select few to own dragons and those who died had their dragons passed on to those of extremely close relation like father to son or aunt to niece or uncle to nephew. All the dragons are passed on once its agreed the ypung Targaryen is ready unless they had a hatchling. Also the Dragons stand as a symbol of whom they are riding Vhagar historically with the exception of Laena in the show has always claimed warriors as her rider Visenya Prince Baelon and Aemond all have those characteristics. I did think it was unfair for Aemond to slink in and claim Vhagar in the show but it is what it is and no one can criticize his bravery

there were a lot of different ways the king could have handled it
1) Sentence the boy to have his eye cut out 1 week from now, by Allicent. he's seemingly punished and gives both allicent & aemond time to reflect on the matter & give chance to have them be the ones to offer mercy
2) the king offers his own eye. he is both patriach & King & the responsibility should fall ultimately to him for failing his family to this point. let there be no further blood be spilled but his own
3) bluff & threaten to take all their eyes, one each, so all children have equally paid in this quarrel. test allicent's rage to see if she's willing to let aegon lose an eye just to gain 4 more from rheanyra (not counting the 3rd son, i think he's a baby?)
4) send the boy to the wall when he comes of age with a chance of parole if aemond forgives him before then
5) have the matter be decided at the sept. allicent is all about the 7 and they may temper her wrath

Not really a plausible situation. The most you could expect would be Luke being disinherited and Driftmark passing to the youngest Strong boy instead
make a what if Aegon V didn't die in The Tragedy of summerhall, and had managed to hatch dragon eggs, let's say 3 dragon eggs to make it interesting, how would that change history from that point o,n with no one dying in summerhall and dragons returning to the world?

He’s half blind cause one of his nephew felt insulted and brought out a knife and the other one, that was evidently to small to get himself into fights he couldn’t understand, got scared . It is logical that 8 year old Luke got scared and reacted that way, it is not for us, audience that have all the information, to act like his assumption of the events was the absolute truth.
Then he'd have to punish Aemond for committing treason. Luke loses an eye, Aemond loses his life

@Aaron_Guest to accuse the children of the heir of bastardy is to accuse her of treason. If Vizzy T is rugsweeping as always, it can be explained away. If Luke is maimed? He either has to remove Rhaenyra as heir, have Laenor humiliated as a cuckold, and basically get rid of her boys, OR he has to punish Aemond for treason. Given he has never had any intention of replacing Rhaenyra, he would have to kill Aemond.
