I was lucky enough to meet and chat with Ronnie after a couple of shows in my hometown back in the day. Such a sweet, humble soul who really cared about his fans and their feedback on his music and stage show. Myself and the handful of friends that I ran with back then would always hang out around the tour busses after shows hoping to score an autograph or some merch. I told myself "what the hell," and went up and knocked on his bus door. And, being the type of person he was, he answered his own door. He was more than happy to take a few minutes and chat with us. Surprisingly, he was the one bombarding us with questions on if we liked the show, or was there anything that we thought he could change to make an awesome show even better. We even shared some of the "combustible botanicals" with him. A genuine gift that was sent for the rest of us to enjoy...and, we're all the worse off by his passing. RIP my brother, you're sorely missed. And, save me a seat in the smoking section for when it's my turn to be called home.
The Holy Diver album cover is depicting Dio's belief that evil comes in all forms. Just because it's a priest, doesn't mean it's always good and because it may look evil, doesn't mean it is.
it's about time you came back to Dio,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Vivian Campbell is the Best Guitarist Ronnie James Dio ever had.... the guitar solo keeps going never ending !AWESOME!
I dunno. He did four studio and two live albums with Tony Iommi. I think the Heaven and Hell (band) album The Devil You Know is some of Tony's best work
It was said also with a bit of irony. Don't talk to strangers because they're all bad, but your best friends and SO start as strangers too before you talk and get to know them and their point of view. Honestly everyone is a stranger when you first come into the world.
There was nothing quite like a Dio concert in the 80s. I saw the tours for his first 3 solo albums. Fighting dragons, snakes and hydras on stage while belting those vocals 🔥
You guys should really listen to “ Hearing Aid “ !!! Dio got all the metal bands together for a charity !!! The best Singers and guitarist and drummers all together in one room!!! it was amazing!!! ❤😊He even had the making of the video!!!! ❤🎉
The priest in the water is a almost literal interpretation of the album title, Holy Diver. Dio was the greatest rock/metal vocalist of the 80s and some would say all time. Check out The Last in Line next.
I’ve been listening to Dio since he was in Rainbow in the 70s and out of all the projects that he’s been involved in. This is one of my favorite songs. This song and Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath.
This was great and the conversation about Don’t talk to strangers, especially regarding advice for children is crazy in my life right now and I’m a little bit stunned at the synchronicity of it all, but this happens all the time with your videos and my bizarre life lol… it just so happens that right now I’m dealing with a suppressed memory, it resurfaced not too long ago in a major way to the point where I was forced to look at it, and it has everything to do with talking to a dangerous stranger when I was 10… it’s so funny how I count on Tuesday live with the tribe to take me away from my world for just a few minutes and there you are shoving me right back into it 😆✌See y’all next Tuesday!
This song is all we need...especially the modern society cuz this song tells awareness & cautionary of what forms of evil becames into. Great reaction guys. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
In 2014 there was a tribute album that came out for ronnie called ronnie James dio- this is your life and jack black and tenacious D did a cover of the last in line and totally nailed it 🤘🔥🤘
A rare reaction - bravo. Here's another Dio classic (from the Sabbath days), done live by his band after solo and Sabbath breakup, called Heaven and Hell (featuring Tony and Geezer , with Vinnie Appice replacing Bill Ward) - "Die Young": th-cam.com/video/3a6HoAgtYLM/w-d-xo.html This was his next-to last concert before he passed the following year.
Another great one from Dio/Sabbath is "Die Young". Also, if you haven't seen it, after Dio past away, the Metal Alliance (made up of a bunch great metal musicians) did a tribute to the Dio song "We Rock". Its definitely worth seeing.
Great song, GREAT ALBUM. So I want to tell yall ACID BATH reunited to BE in the lineup on the SICK NEW WORLD tour, with Metallica Headlining, on the poster, their name is right below EVANESCENCE.
Got to check out Black Sabbath album Heaven and Hell. Lots of great songs before Holy Diver by Dio. Sabbath hired Ronnie after they fired Ozzy. A totally different style.
Check out the 2022 Joe Barresi remix of the Holy Diver album, not only is audio better than the original but also the tracks that ended with a fade now have endings, as there is the full studio recording of each of those tracks.
My interpretation is that he's taking paranoia and superstition to their logical extreme to show how absurd they are. So many great Dio songs. Last in Line is fantastic, maybe All the Fools Sailed Away.
please react to the song "bring it" by Hanislip, it has a sepultura, korn and slipknot vibe. The most incredible thing is that it's just one guy, and he's Brazilian.
Guys, u need to do more Dio, including his Rainbow years. As I said before Rainbow of period of 1975-1979 is the strongest one, which included RJD as the vocalist. Ritchie Blackmore opened Dio while touring with Deep Purple. As of this song it s great song from his best solo album of 1983. U did couple of songs from that album and it deserves more songs to air from that great album. Great Vivian Campbell as lead guitarist in this album.
Holy Diver is the name of this 1983 album -)) and yes, RJD is one of the best vocalists in the entire rock music. Along with Freddie Mercury and Ian Gillan from Deep Purple. Another one is Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. But I would put Dio as number one, at least in hard and heavy metal rock. He had tremendous vocal, could sing literally in all specters, some say he could do some opera if needed. The same as Freddie Mercury. I would put those two performers at the top.
The next songs I would suggest you guys do, from his Rainbow era. Tarot Woman, Light in Black arming those. From his solo albums I would recommend you songs like Dream Evil, All the fools sail away, just to name couple of those.
It's funny you say that cause jack black and Kyle gass are in the beginning of dio's music video for Push and they're playing holy diver and dio shows up and tells them he'll give them money if they play some tenacious d or something like that 😂
Step by far the holy diver album is one of the most in your face smack you upside the head enough balls to fit in a dump truck debut album ever for the metal genre because every song is holy s*** what a banger
Jesus didn’t die on a cross (and was resurrected) so we CAN sin, he did so because we DO sin. Jesus paid the price for our sin (before we even sinned) and all we have to do is accept him. I’m not sure Ronnie was a Satanist, I believe his grandmother considered herself a witch and the horns sign was a way that witches warded of evil.
This entire album is amazing!! It's called Holy Diver and deserves a deep dive. Keep going through the whole thing. 🔥🔥🔥
Yep! Holy Diver was his first solo album and I love every track on it.
Yep! They should go track by track
Top 10 greatest albums of all time.....HELL YEAH...!!!!!
I was lucky enough to meet and chat with Ronnie after a couple of shows in my hometown back in the day. Such a sweet, humble soul who really cared about his fans and their feedback on his music and stage show. RIP best singer ever RJD!!🤘
The Holy Diver album cover is depicting Dio's belief that evil comes in all forms. Just because it's a priest, doesn't mean it's always good and because it may look evil, doesn't mean it is.
That tracks with his interviews where he discussed religion.
it's about time you came back to Dio,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Vivian Campbell is the Best Guitarist Ronnie James Dio ever had....
the guitar solo keeps going never ending !AWESOME!
I dunno. He did four studio and two live albums with Tony Iommi. I think the Heaven and Hell (band) album The Devil You Know is some of Tony's best work
@Ninang363 those are Tony's bands not Dio, he was singer to Tony Iomi band, I was talking about Dio's band
Dio had such an amazing vocal range, one of the best metal singers ever. And Holy Diver is such a sick album this song is off.
I always took this song as "don't get distracted" from your dreams. Stay focused. Don't listen to criticism. Don't over indulge. Etc..
It was said also with a bit of irony. Don't talk to strangers because they're all bad, but your best friends and SO start as strangers too before you talk and get to know them and their point of view. Honestly everyone is a stranger when you first come into the world.
Straight Through The Heart or The Last In Line are killer
Oh hell yeah!!🤘🤘
They should do Last in Line next so they can follow with Tenacious D's cover of it.
Vivian Campbell (guitars) was only like 17 or 18 when they recorded this album
Sweeet! Saw Dio in the 80’s. Savatage and Megadeth opened. I was like 15. Man I had a great childhood. 😂
Same 👍
There was nothing quite like a Dio concert in the 80s. I saw the tours for his first 3 solo albums. Fighting dragons, snakes and hydras on stage while belting those vocals 🔥
Heard recently that Savatage is getting together and gonna do a tour
Dang! 🤘
Dio - All the Fools Sailed Away
R I.P. Ronnie James Dio & recently John Sykes (former Whitesnake guitarist) 💙🙏🏼
Hi guys, check out "All the fools sailed away" from Dio.
You guys should really listen to “ Hearing Aid “ !!! Dio got all the metal bands together for a charity !!! The best Singers and guitarist and drummers all together in one room!!! it was amazing!!! ❤😊He even had the making of the video!!!! ❤🎉
Great reaction guys !!!! You two should do " WE ROCK " by DIO .
Happy Tuesday Trash Talkers! Please do Mystery next by DIO
Twenty seconds into the video and I already learned something new. THANKS SMOKE DOG!! 🤘🤘
Ronnie's real name is Ronald James Padavona. 🤘🤘🤘 the live version of this at The Spectrum in 86 is epic!!!
and johnny dio is johnny dioguardi :) (yes i looked it up)
The priest in the water is a almost literal interpretation of the album title, Holy Diver. Dio was the greatest rock/metal vocalist of the 80s and some would say all time. Check out The Last in Line next.
Dio even had a band in the 60s called Ronnie Dio & The Prophets and the did the song “ Love Potion # 9 !!!
I’ve been listening to Dio since he was in Rainbow in the 70s and out of all the projects that he’s been involved in. This is one of my favorite songs. This song and Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath.
Great song. Also love Neon Knights.
Tenacious D (Jack Black if you don't remember) did a great cover of Dio's Last in Line. They got a Grammy for it too.
Holy Diver album. Try "Straight Through the Heart", from same album. You won't regret it.
Morning guys! Dio kicks ass! He was so talented!!! Glad you loved it hollywood!😁❤

Mom told me not to talk to strangers but now that's all I do . Great song and review ! Keep rocking on! 🤟😎
I've had this album in my vehicle .from 1983 until present day...Holy Diver...
🎶they won't let you get away.......🎶
Go ahead and knock out the rest of this album and the next!
Another great one from Dio/Sabbath is "Die Young". Also, if you haven't seen it, after Dio past away, the Metal Alliance (made up of a bunch great metal musicians) did a tribute to the Dio song "We Rock". Its definitely worth seeing.
Must react to HEAVEN AND HELL when he replaced OZZY in SABBATH
Smokey was DEEP into this one! RIP DIO!
That bass mix gets me every time.
He put on a great concert. Seen him twice in concert.
I was introduced to him once.
Great song, GREAT ALBUM. So I want to tell yall ACID BATH reunited to BE in the lineup on the SICK NEW WORLD tour, with Metallica Headlining, on the poster, their name is right below EVANESCENCE.
16:31 My whole yard is fuller rose plants.😊😊😊⚘️⚘️⚘️ They do have fragrant roses and I grow them.😊
You guys are too much!!😅😂
✌🏼😊🎶❤️🍁🍁✨️🕊
That whole Album is 💯% 🔥🔥🔥
The track Invisible is crack yo mind
Got to check out Black Sabbath album Heaven and Hell. Lots of great songs before Holy Diver by Dio. Sabbath hired Ronnie after they fired Ozzy. A totally different style.
"Holy Diver" is the album title, and as you already know, contains the title track "Holy Diver". The whole album slaps.
Dio
The Last In Line
The album is actually called holy diver and it's fire...from start to finish.
DIO was a god amongst men. 🤘
You want an awesome solo by Viv, check out the song by Dio-I speed at night. it's super fire.
This one of my Favourites off the Holy Diver Album! The while album is fantastic!!
There’s a couple live versions of this song on TH-cam that have incredible audio. Dude was great live too. Worth a look!
Specifically this one: th-cam.com/video/BhBfBW_vyGc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pKc4cNKWVAf9ZO0O
Holy Diver album is amazing great cover art too💯
One of the best song of DIO with Holy diver🤘
Check out the 2022 Joe Barresi remix of the Holy Diver album, not only is audio better than the original but also the tracks that ended with a fade now have endings, as there is the full studio recording of each of those tracks.
Remember, this is the " Dio" Bands Debut!
Ronnie James Dio is a rock legend! 🎸
My interpretation is that he's taking paranoia and superstition to their logical extreme to show how absurd they are.
So many great Dio songs. Last in Line is fantastic, maybe All the Fools Sailed Away.
Crazy good band!!!Crazy good singer!!1rCrazy good album!!! Crazy good song!!!!!! Crazy good reaction!!!!!!!
Tawny is also on the cover of Ratt's Out of the Cellar album before Whitesnake.
WE ROCK,,,,🤘🤘🤘 or MYSTERY,,, on last in line,,,
please react to the song "bring it" by Hanislip, it has a sepultura, korn and slipknot vibe. The most incredible thing is that it's just one guy, and he's Brazilian.
Dio!
My interpretation is how people let fear keep them from living their life
🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

Man it would be awesome if u guys checked out dio, pain. Good work out song 🤘🏻 keep on rocken it, dope shirts btw
R.I.P. Ronnie🤘
I don't know about "Holy Diver", but the guys in Anthrax do an awesome cover of "Neon Knights"... Hint, hint... 😁
My favorite song off this album, you should check out his work in rainbow
It's funny you say that cause jack black and Kyle gass are in the beginning of dio's music video for Push and they're playing holy diver and dio shows up and tells them he'll give them money if they play some tenacious d or something like that 😂
Great reaction.
Love the show Fellas.
Check out
The Record Company
"Off the Ground"
Great vibe🤘🏻
I saw the song title before I noticed the artist and thought they were listening to Rick Springfield 😁
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cheers homies!
Jack Black covers Last in Line on the RJD tribute album
Holy diver then the last in line and then sacred heart
Step by far the holy diver album is one of the most in your face smack you upside the head enough balls to fit in a dump truck debut album ever for the metal genre because every song is holy s*** what a banger
You guys need to check out goatworthy Ren Retake of Troubles. He is releasing his takes on rens beats as a tribute!!!
dio- evil on queens street
Check out the live video of this song. RJD is older and it is amazing.
Stand Up And Shout!!!
Dip also invented the heavy metal salute
14:22 I guess I've always been sinning.🤣🤣🤣🤣😈 I do what I want, and I don't care about the consequences.😈😁
Dio is God
Check out Tenacious D's cover of "The Last in Line"
Rainbow in the Dark
Ronnie was a good guy.
Evile: bathe in blood
Long Live RJD \m/
Dokken next
The song seems to me to be about pessimism and the resultant asceticism. (Denial of life)
Remember kids, if you don't sin, then Jesus died for nothing!
Only 2 Dio songs I like better, We Rock and The Last In Line
My very favorite Dio track.
