8:52 of the video. Two from our group where in the hot tub part of the pool on the right. Rest of us were sitting under the umbrella behind them. Definitely one of our highlights from the trip.
Looks all redone since i was there about 10 years ago, will be back at Siaan Kaan this time in a few weeks i will definitely check it out looks much better in some areas now
Thanks for watching! I’m at RIU Palace Costa Mujeres (just north of Cancun) right now. I had vacation time and airline miles to burn and the knee fells OK.
Hello again Jeff !! I have watched many videos of all the BP resorts in Mexico and they are all pretty good but your videos i can feel how much you care about helping and educating everyone about the resorts......My wife and I will be staying at the BP Akumal February 2024. One thing i was wondering is have you heard if any of the resorts have Horchata at the bars or buffets ?? We live in Texas between Dallas and Houston on I45. Do you also live in Texas. I think you fly out of Houston like we will ? Hope your knee is still doing good !!.......
Thanks for watching! And thank you for the kind words, I try to create what I would want to see if I was researching a resort. I have seen a horchata dispenser around. I did try it once and it was just OK. Too sweet & not enough cinnamon. Definitely not made with love by a little Abuela. Although I now live in Little Rock, Arkansas I was born & raised in Northeast Texas and my wife and I both graduated from UT-Arlington. Little Rock’s airport has no international flights so we must connect somewhere.
Thank you! Within a few weeks I will put up a refreshed Coba Walkaround. Then I have another in the works that I recorded while there, “Bahia Príncipe Grand Coba, Is It Still The Best?”. My topic is - it still still the best most budget friendly family all-inclusive served by Cancun Airport.
Hello! As it happens I recently returned from another trip staying at Luxury Sian Kaan. While there I recorded all 4 resorts and for another ala carte video. Right now I and editing up the Grand Tulum Walkaround. Luxury Akumal will be next in a few weeks. Stay tuned!
We’ve never been in September. But I think all times of the year are fairly dense with such high demand. When we were there last week January-1st week February, all sections were at or very near 100% occupancy.
We were there before the renovations started. Members of the Bahia Lovers Facebook group have reported zero impact to them. They’re remodeling room buildings while closed to guests.
Very nice video Sir! Out of interest, how long does it take to walk around the full resort? The Luxury and the other hotels you have access to as part of the package? Booked for next August, going for the first time (first time in that area so no experience of Mexico, Carribeann, etc
Thank you for watching! Only Luxury Sian Kaan is a “normal” size resort. The other 3 are enormous and well separated from one another. If you are staying at Luxury Akumal you have access to all resorts except no kids at Sian Kaan. You could spend a full day at each one and not fully encounter everything. August will be very hot and very humid. You’ll not want to walk between resorts. Be certain to not discount the Grand Coba. It has the best breakfast buffet and best pools of all sections. So don’t hesitate to spend a full day there.
What??? your in bed before the shows start? What time do you go to bed? 6pm? Nice video Jeff. Maybe one day Paulette and I will go to an All inclusive resort. I want the job of pool foam sprayer. -Marc
Lol we made the video!!! Glad to have met you waiting outside the breakfast area. Love the videos, keep them coming!
Hah! What part of the video?

We had a good time at this resort. had the wrist band that allowed us to go to the nearby associated resort restaurants...a nice place.
Omigosh! What a surprise to have those pelicans scoop in close enough to splash you! LOL Love it! This was a nice tour, Papaw. 🙂 ~Gina

We were there at the end of January it was our 6th time and. We always stay at Akumal!
Nice video, anybody know what occupancy levels are early September?

Thanks for posting your tour. Did the ongoing works there cause much inconvenience?

Do they have the foam at coba?
Maybe. It’s sponsored by that club in Cancun. They go around to most resorts. Look for it on the activity board when you get there.
@@papawgotagopro high i enjoy your vids no miss information ,Can y
Can you tell me which Building is the best in coba we go in oct ages 90/78/62/60 Four adults .
Ground floor? /Beach access ? Thanks for all you do
All rooms at Coba are away from the beach, everyone rides the trolley to the beach. My favorite building at Coba is ground floor building 26.
Is that room where the lobby bar is? Pakal the name?
Yes. Pakal is the Sports Bar attached to the lobby.
Which was better this hotel or grand tulum?
Akumal is better. Higher level and a lot more privileges staying there.
