Yasss! I'd use a decorative shower curtain for the bed canopy where it's hung with rods. That would be cute also🤩 Like an embroidered or tuftet shower curtain.
Kathleen Moritz ..I put a tutu around the lights of the ceiling fan in my daughters room. Not exactly a canopy but it looks awesome when the lights are on.
We just got one today and worked around. A low hanging fan. .. We can't use it anymore but the popes go. Right through the blades thanks to. Careful placement in the bedroom of the bed
Always take out your pins right before getting to them. Your machine can, and will, jump time and that is something you have to send your machine out to get fixed.
I like your "bohemian" style @ 4:16 but no hints are provided for how to produce this look. Can you please point me to instructions? What did you use to create such a big circular piece on the ceiling? (It must be about 5' in diameter!) Thank you!
You can do the hoop canopy idea but place it in the middle and have it opening to the side where the ladder may be or try a curtain type thing where the bottom of the canopy stops at the top of the bottom bunk if that makes sense

I adore canopy beds...just wish I didn't have a ceiling fan in the way😯! If anyone has any ideas how to work around a ceiling fan please let me know.
If you ever cleaned your ceiling fan lamp - think about what the canopy will be like in a short period of time.
