Siddharth deserves to be among the most sought out kollywood heros. I wish Chithha gives him the success he badly needed. Fingers crossed to see him avoid takkars at least in the future.
The film's budget is reportedly 5 crore rupees and it earned 25 crores worldwide. Though it gave 4 times profit as investment, compared to 400- 500 crore grossers it's an inconsequential film in the market and Siddharth is a bit player too.

I am surprised with this continuous complaint of many movies releasing at the same time. My take on this is, not everyone is a reviewer. People will watch what they like. Even some directors know they are not going to attract every type of audience. There can be a 1000 things in the super market, no body is complaining why there's lot of things here, I need only one. I wonder whether reviewers suffer this type of a fatigue and let it affect their reviews. Like how paper corrections in colleges and schools sometimes go. I don't think a reviewer can assimilate a movie slowly. Its just next-next-next. Normal folks, time iruntha paaka poraaanga. Enjoy panna suggest panna poraanga. 😄

Many holes in the story. It's not believable that Siddharth leaves Sundari alone while taking Ponni home. Also when Sundari gets off from auto and joins Siddhart, won't she tell that the other child is going alone in the auto? Third, how is that Ponni's parents don't realise something is wrong with her the same evening the incident happened? Then (this should be the first point), Siddharth doesn't take any detour and simply drops the child at home--why is he the suspect in the first place? Above all, it's not convincing that Sundari so easily trusts the abuser and goes with him, after seeing all that happened to her close friend Ponni. How is that a child-rapist murderer is so casually transported in a public bus without handcuffs and a single cop sitting in another seat?? Where was he when Siddharth attacks that culprit in the bus?
Siddharth taked ponni only on bike to ask her about what's wrong. He felt something could be serious and not to have sundari while the conversation happens.
