@1:09 i SO appreciate you just dropoing the list in the description AND THEN TELLING US a minute in, and im usually that guy but tbh I actually for once wana hear the rest of the information. Good video man thanks seriously this helped immensely!
@@ashrafulshuvo4391 Yes, I can look into different websites that offer jobs around the world! With these seasonal websites, most jobs are based in the USA, but Asian students and those all over the world can apply! Most companies are very use to having international workers come over to work for them.
Yes job monkey can be tricky sometimes. It is great about showing jobs that are hiring or are a future possibility. But sometimes those jobs are not active through their website and you need to search for the job or company on google and apply through their website.
Hi! I don't think I've done a proper fall seasonal job? I've mostly just done Winer and Summer. But summer camp would be my favorite seasonal job in general :) What is yours?
What a great video, Sabrina!! Thank you so much ☺️ Are these jobs available for foreigners? I am from Argentina and I would like to work in the USA in the Hospitality Industry for a season. I am over 40, so I cannot apply to the typical W&T visas hehe. Thank you!!
Hi! Yes! There are companies and organizations that post on these websites that welcome international staff. You sometimes need to dig though job postings to see which ones are hiring international staff for the current season but they usually state it on the job posting or note that they have staff from around the world. I hope you find one that is perfect for you and you have a great USA experience! (Also, I love Argentina, it is a beautiful country and I hope to explore more of it one day!)
HI! Are you looking for specifically seasonal jobs outside of the USA (such as working a summer camp or ski season) or ANY types of jobs outside the USA (such as teaching English or working with kids)?
Short answer: Yes, you will find jobs for foreign workers on these sites! In terms of contracts, they will vary from job to job and the contract itself will most likely not be posted, or sent to you until an offer is made. On each of these sites, you can find many different jobs and companies that hire people from everywhere, including outside of the USA. Not all of them will specifically say this in their posting. You may have to just apply or ask them directly if they are hiring people from outside the country (due to changes brought on by the pandemic). However, the majority of these jobs are very use to hiring people who live outside outside the USA and only come work here to work in the country seasonally. Seasonal Jobs here in the USA, such as; ski resorts, summer camps, jobs in Alaska, National Park jobs... normally have a lot of staff who are international/from outside the USA, and come to work on a J1 Work Visa. Some places greatly rely on international works.
Hi. I am from India and I am trying to find seasonal jobs. I am going yo dig down the website you have mentioned above. However, is it applicable only for US citizens or can I apply too?
Hello! Great question. Each job and company will be different. Some hire people from outside of the USA and some only hire American citizens. If you find a job you like and it does not say if they are hiring workers from outside the USA, I suggest emailing them to see if they do. Also, take a look at what you would need for a USA work VISA to make sure you have everything you need to apply, and start on time. Good luck! I hope you find a wonderful seasonal job and have the opportunity to come work in the USA for a season!
Hi! A lot of the time you can tell because they will mention something on their post about assisting with VISAs. Or they will specifically mention that they do not assist with VISAs, or are only hiring domestically at the moment. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. If there is not information on the job posting, you could reach out to them via email to ask or try and do some digging under their employee page on their website. I do wish they were more direct with this information. While plenty of seasonal companies/businesses are use to hiring employees from abroad, not all of them do and the information regarding their process is not always easy to find.
Hi! I am not completely sure on how the application process would work for different jobs and companies. I do know that, friends of mine who are from Mexico went through a placement center when applying to work for a summer camp. However, most people abroad do this for summer camps, not only those from Mexico. See if you can find a job you like and make sure they are hiring people from outside the US at this time- due to COVID procedures. If they are, you can try applying directly to them. You could also do some research on how to go about the VISA process and everything you would need to work in the USA for a short time (every country is different), as well as any organizations that may help place you in a job. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but I hope this is a place to start.
Yes! Seasonal Work in the USA is a great opportunity for people who live abroad, and want to spend some time working/traveling here. I have many friends from Mexico that I have worked with during the summers who were only here for the summer months- some come back year after year. You will need to go through the VISA process of course, and find then right job for you- but you can definitely make it happen!
