Mr Balkan Architecture, please can you answer my question, so, can I design a house in revit without doing anything in structural rebon?, or can I design all elements of the house (walls, columns, beams and slabs) in architecture?. I am confused because I draw a exterior wall and then I decided to draw column, I can't make decisions wheter is architectural or structural column. So when is time to work I structural part of revit?

Hi sir.. Is there any possible ways to reduce poly and meshes in revit for creating MR using unity?

I would use Rhino and the 'rebuild mesh' tool

Revit cannot manipulate UVs. It is awful for modelling for Game Engines. It is awful for MEP drawings too. Some Elements have to be Mechanical so that they can have multiple Systems attached. These Mechanical Families can't have sections through them (apart from using a very gawky work-around using 3D sections).

If Blender was able to produce drawings (I know it has the add-on MeasureIt but that is weak) then there would be a mass of people 'jumping ship' away from difficult to use CAD programs.

@@benveasey7474 I've had a lot of people tell me Blender has the potential, also for IFC workflows.
I'm glad you acknowledge one of the (current) limitations. There are a few others I've noticed but I see the potential.
I think BIM and game engine modelling will always be different, and I doubt many drafters or BIM modellers will easily make the jump, given such mesh/UV capable tools like Rhino still haven't (but are popular nonetheless).
I would hazard as far to say a lot of BIM modellers don't even know what UV means!

By the way i watch many of your Videos as the company i work for switched to revit a two years ago... As im a technical system Planner (Heating, sanitary, Ventilation, etc. of universitys, schools, hospitals, airports,...) I would love to see more videos on these topics♥️ I am aware of the fact that youre an Architect but you for sure make the greatest Revit Tutorials... Although we have different purposes when using Revit watching you hast helped me understand the software in generell and find my own solutions with your inspiration. Same goes for metric families, etc...
      Carry on ✌️
