I really the way you are teaching.
to mount the directly by default we edit the /etc/fstba file.
the entry would be:
/test /dev/xvdf xfs defaults 0 0

Permanent mount ke liye /etc/fstab me entry bohot jruri h or ek baat ka dyan rakhna padhta h ki entry bilkul correct ho nhi toh system rescue mode me chala jata h
After doing entry in etc/fstab always run command to check weather you put correct entry in the file . If mount -a fails, it should provide an error message indicating what went wrong. Use this information to debug the issue.

Bhai kya hum /text ki jagh mountpoint ka naam dusra nai rkh skte ..maine try Kiya to output aa rha tha mountpoint doesn't exist...
we have to memorize those commands or there is any list of commands available?

Above is just an example . Last 4 arguments can be changed based on requirement
