Honestly despite Frankie being a failure as a father/husband. At the very least he suffers the consequences of actions on like Most bad cartoon fathers such as… Peter Griffin Stan Smith Randy Marsh Stephen Willis Scotch Carter Pewterschmidt Marty Glouberman Oh yeah let’s also not forget both Nicole’s parents were terrible. They weren’t deadbeats or abusive, however we’re completely neglectful and had beyond high expectations since the day she was born. NTM had absolutely no regard for their only daughter’s feelings.

I find it funny how Richard's das is teaching his son how to do "adult" tasks, as he shows clear stress and incompetence like he hasn't done those things before in previous episodes. The obvious irony and forced melancholic approach to that scene is hilarious since it's supposed to be empathetic, but in reality it's just fake.
This guy deserves to suffer. I’m sorry but he left Richard, never tried to contact him, never tried to get a job for his family, and tried to scam his family for money or food. He may have felt regret but he never tries to change
I'm not defending him for leaving his son and not trying to contact his family, but um, of course he tried he tried to scam them for food and money? I'm not saying it's moral, but if you're already a scam artist and that's what you know, and you desperately need food and money in order to live, why would you not try to do that? It seems like the first thing you would think of to try to do in that situation. Yes it certainly isn't moral to try to scam them like that, but you have to admit that it makes perfectly logical sense why he would try to do so given who he is as a person and the condition he is living in. He could have gone about it better than trying to scam them out of it, but at least in this case he is doing it for things to actually help him live instead of things like jewelry or something, I don't know.
I am disappointed that i have the same name as an animated rat who got bullied by a couple of children because he happened to leave his son "to go get milk" Life is strange.
I think Richard knew but he chose to pretend he doesn't like how people block out bad memories then there's people like granny jojo who keeps bringing it up till said person remembers them I'm glad Richard chose the higher road in life instead still being himself with no complications
On one hand, Frankie is an awful deadbeat dad who deserves terrible things. On the other hand, I feel like burning a wooden statue if himself in front of him while singing about how awful he is might be going a little bit too far
He is horrible in that he left his family and only came back to con them out of their home... But Joana has show how messed up a partner she can be so I can understand him walking out on HER. This is the woman who turned Richard into the braindead lazy slob we know, apparently via repeated psychological torment to scare him away from anything other than lazing about and eating (which left him woefully unprepared for the many dangerous things he gets involved in, she didn't teach him that some things were dangerous, just scared him into not taking any "risk" near her). It doesn't absolve him of his flaws but it explains some of his actions. It doesn't explain why Joana ever married him, but her actions and motivations are baffling anyway. Also I forgot that it was Anais that had the "genius" idea to make him feel at home by imitating the worst parts of prison... Has anyone ever called her out on when HER plans are dumb and cause problems as opposed to all the times she does that to gumball and darwin?
may i suggest a few other characters to make videos like this on: -the hot dog guy does he have a name i forgot tbh he feels like a dave so lets call him that -nicole watterson -the silly little evil rock guy nemesis whose name i forgot -principal guy whose name i also forgot have i mentioned i never actually watched this show in full and barely know any of the characters by name hehe
There is a likable quality to Frankie though. He abandoned his family specifically because he knew he would be a terrible influence on them and didn’t want his son to end up like he did. And judging by the life and loving family that Richard leads, it seems like Frankie‘s plan worked.
1:42 to 2:00 My mind: Don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him ... Also I really like the episode, but holy crap, imagine being tortured by pretend prison so much that when the real prison is offered to you it seems good by comparison
Where did Grannie Jojo get all of those instruments, how long has she been playing each, and is that how she kept the lights on for Richard? Questions I desperately need the answers to!
Honest do god really reminds me of my parents. My mom hated my dad for what he put us through simply because he really only loved his family and himself and we were the optional part. I hated him for a long time and absolutely hated his guts for what he did to our family, with my mom never speaking to him for 3 years. Until in 2018, he fixed himself. Sure he was still a bit of a selfish ass until he actually started to understand me and my autism. He started to understand I was a person, a person he created with my mom, who is also a person like him. He realized how much we really meant to him all his life and how big selfish assholes his part of the family was(except his dad). Over the course of 5 years of hard work and actually giving me the love I never had…. He’s my father now and I love him to the end, I will forgive most of what he’s ever done, but I will never forget the pain of everything, just as my mom won’t as she’s always on his ass about everything, but she respects him just as much as he respects her. That’s life in my book, that’s how life goes. People need to be given a chance but once that chance goes, that’s it, no more…. Just give people the chance and if they don’t, cut them out just as they’ve cut you. But if they take that chance, hold and love them until the end and never let them fall again. My dads currently got a raise in a company he’s worked for since 2019 and he’s doing better than he’s ever done in years I love my dad and he loves me, my mom, my brother and my sister Edit: there’s a few details I’m leaving out but it’s mostly personal stuff
frankie deserves everything he got coming to him scamming his son for 400$ as a CHILD and then abandoning him only to come back to con him out of his house and make him homeless. If you think hes changed one bit your wrong he visits only for food and shelter not to visit his SON he ABANDONED 34 years ago smh i feel no pity for him at all
Frankie is a bad father. When you look at the way he treated his own son Richard by abandoning him as a kid leading to Granny Jojo infantilizing Richard to the point where he can’t function on his own and trying to scam him even to this day, he honestly deserves hearing the vermin man song. Poor Richard is the way he is now and who can blame him?
Everybody is debating whether to look at him as being a terrible person and not feel bad for him, or whether to look at him as a tortured person that are you do feel for at least a little bit, but very few people are realizing that you can have a bit of BOTH. You can see how terrible of a person he is AND feel bad for him at times for what his life has become. Note that nothing that I say here is a defense for what he's done. The people who don't feel bad for him no matter what, I can understand why, but I can't agree because even someone like him deserves food and clean water. The people who view him as the victim on the other hand are going too far the other way and need to remember that he is a deadbeat father who left his son and wife and also a scam artist on top of that. And the people who thinks he deserves nothing but torture because of that need to remember that even though what he did was unforgivable, he at least tried to make up for it but didn't know how and ended up feeling like he wasn't able to. Yes what he did was unforgivable, but I can't help but feel bad for him actually wanting to finally make up for it after all these years and not knowing how to. Also the fact that he has no food and had to boil water from a toilet is just sad no matter how terrible of a person he is in my opinion. But I digress, I'm probably going to get a lot of hate comments from the people don't feel bad for him no matter what that I'm trying to defend him when I'm not.

@jessicapeterson7171he didn’t went to prison, he didn’t want to go three days to prison and left Joanna and Richard 33 years for that, and still tries to constantly trick his son
@jessicapeterson7171 Ya that about sums it up. Especially since he never ctually went to prison. 3 days in prison with family visits or 33 yrs on the run, not even wanting to see his family. Guess what he chose and why?
If he's not allowed to be close to his family that's his own fault.
I laughed way too hard when richard said “whens dad getting back with the milk?”
the only dad that came back
But without the milk
Honestly despite Frankie being a failure as a father/husband.
At the very least he suffers the consequences of actions on like Most bad cartoon fathers such as…
Peter Griffin
Stan Smith
Randy Marsh
Stephen Willis Scotch
Carter Pewterschmidt
Marty Glouberman
Oh yeah let’s also not forget both Nicole’s parents were terrible. They weren’t deadbeats or abusive, however we’re completely neglectful and had beyond high expectations since the day she was born. NTM had absolutely no regard for their only daughter’s feelings.
Your also forgetting how they said they were too old to have another child
Don’t forget Clay Puppington
I like how the show criticizes the US prison system.
''Knock knock?''
''Dad?''
''No-''
''WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH''
I felt the 5 stages of grief in that joke
Do principal brown being weird af >:D and also funny moment; "Whats father gonna say when he comes back?" "Father???" "Yeah! You said he went to buy some milk 42 years ago! He can be back any minute!" "ᴰʳᵃᵐᵃᵗᶦᶜ ᵖᵃᵘˢᵉ ᵒᶠ ˢᵗᵃʳᶦⁿᵍ ᵃᵗ ᵉᵃᶜʰᵒᵗʰᵉʳ."
There is this weird balance between "man, he is an asshole" and "man, that's so sad"
Oh, brother, that Frankie’s got some problems. And everyone, if you’re watching this video, try being in the same show with him every DAY.
Amazing World Of Gumball makes fun of important life lessons and still teaches them very well.
Does he really live in there?
It could be worse, he could live in that
*Hello Watersons!*
Feel free to put 11:36 on repeat
Wow Frankie aged way better than his ex-wife that guy has to be between 55 to somewhere in the 60s and he doesn’t look half bad for a bum😅
0:16 holy shit 💀💀💀
"he belongs in a more... PADDED cell, if you catch my drift"
honestly one of the more clever things gumball has said
He seems like a man who had it coming for him, and well, it came for him. Really, he got himself into this mess
If there's one word to describe Frankie, it's "pitiful", his existence is pitiful.
I agree
@@nickronca1562 conning your family goes too far man
@@nickronca1562 yes he’s desperate I understand that but that’s no excuse to do what he did
@@jamestolbert1856 I'm not saying I defend him, I'm just saying from a character perspective it makes sense.
@@nickronca1562yeah it does
I am disappointed that i have the same name as an animated rat who got bullied by a couple of children because he happened to leave his son "to go get milk"
Life is strange.
Life is definitely strange...coming soon to pc, ps5 and xbox whatever the last one is.
2:10 are we not going to question that fact that Darwin said what to dad
Gumball: you're not a dad.🤨
Darwin: sorry, it's been a confusing day.😅
10:43 wait he was secretly smart
5:34 that escalated quickly😂
13:08 One of my favorite lines from the series
Yeah, I love Anais, she is my favorite character in the entire show, I wish nothing but the best for her, but holy crap, that was pretty stupid.
He mostly brought the torture to himself.
7:13 yooo this song 🔥🔥
4:56 “what’s up with him “ why are you asking questions ….
What?
may i suggest a few other characters to make videos like this on:
-the hot dog guy does he have a name i forgot tbh he feels like a dave so lets call him that
-nicole watterson
-the silly little evil rock guy nemesis whose name i forgot
-principal guy whose name i also forgot
have i mentioned i never actually watched this show in full and barely know any of the characters by name hehe
The nemesis is Rob and Principal is Brown
His name is Hotdog Guy >:(
"The silly little evil rock guy" Lmaoooo even in the show he never where this disrespected 🤣🤣 but yea I agree a compile on him would be great
5:25 Richard has his Season 2 eyes despite this being a Season 4 episode.
1:40 bro they even stoled his tree
0:04 “wh-hat? No.”
“AAAAUGHHHH”
7:38 Why was this sooo funny 😂
Frankie is what Moe Syzlak's fursona would be
The vermin man song is fucking funny.
And he’s a literal rat
Okay, but the Vermin Man song is low key fire 🔥
He is the OG gone for milk dad
Nahhh not the milk joke 💀💀
The Amazing World of Gumball predicted the your dad left to get milk and never came back insult
2:18
That’s a pretty reasonable reaction for when your dad finally comes back after he abandoned you for so many goddamn years.
There is a likable quality to Frankie though. He abandoned his family specifically because he knew he would be a terrible influence on them and didn’t want his son to end up like he did.
And judging by the life and loving family that Richard leads, it seems like Frankie‘s plan worked.
So instead of getting therapy to work on his problems, he decided to be a deadbeat?
@@lizzy1876
Many people ignore therapy if they have already convinced themselves that they are a lost cause.
4:56
Gumball: dude I think you put this way too far 😒
Dude said he was sentenced to 3 days in jail, all this running was for nothing
0:18
He went to by milk 42 years ago.
Omfg
10:39 richard legit just made a reference to the titanic
0:22 dıd they just embrace the joke? THEY KNOW ÎT?
Frankie deserves everything imo
1:42 to 2:00
My mind: Don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him, don't feel bad for him ...
(A few seconds later in that episode) Anais: That's it! We have to make our home a prison cell because that's what he's use to
My mind: nooooooooooooo!
They tormented this man for being a deadbeat, great lesson to kids lmaoo
Darwin: Knock Knock
Richard: DAD?!
Darwin: No.
Richard: 😢
why does he sound like pearson from rdr2 but with the personality of Uncle
"How about a joke. Knock Knock!"
"Dad?"
"What? No."
"WWWAAAAAAAAAAUAUAUUAAGGGGGHHHHHHHH"
frankie is like his son
but bigger
My dads currently got a raise in a company he’s worked for since 2019 and he’s doing better than he’s ever done in years
I love my dad and he loves me, my mom, my brother and my sister
Edit: there’s a few details I’m leaving out but it’s mostly personal stuff
frankie deserves everything he got coming to him scamming his son for 400$ as a CHILD and then abandoning him only to come back to con him out of his house and make him homeless. If you think hes changed one bit your wrong he visits only for food and shelter not to visit his SON he ABANDONED 34 years ago smh i feel no pity for him at all
0:16 for some reason as a kid i thought this was meant to be an allegory for him being dead, not that he walked out on him.
9:00 MIND:OFF
MIND:ON😂😂😂
5:35 “WE ARE FAMILY!!!!! NOTHING RHYMES WITH FAMILY!!!!!”
“Knock knock” “DAD?”
Favorite part about him is just how easy it is to forget how bad of a person he really is just by how he acts and how everyone treats him
Frankie is a bad father.
I wonder how Frankie would look if he appeared in Season 1.
Cursed.
that shower gag is pretty risque
Frankie Watterson is Definitely DEFINITELY me
Everybody is debating whether to look at him as being a terrible person and not feel bad for him, or whether to look at him as a tortured person that are you do feel for at least a little bit, but very few people are realizing that you can have a bit of BOTH.
This is where the left for the milk joke came from. Now go
That joke is older than both of your parents
