Here's a step by step explanation of how she made this for those who didn't understand:
• Take the exact shades of colours he/she used in the beggining and copy the way she arranged it.
• Now, in order to blend it, you must go to Resize>Turn off aspect ratio>make horizontal size 1 ( You must do this action twice )
• After the action has been done, you must do the same as in step 2 but instead of changing size to 1, you must change it to 500 ( keep resizing until it is to your desired size )
• Your blending is now done. The next step is to select half of the blended background and copy it. In order to do this go to select>transparent selection>rectangular selection and select half of your background. Then right click on the selected space and copy it.
• Now paste the image right under the selected area ( this gives a horizon effect to the painting) *MAKE SURE TO PUT THE MOON IN THE MIDDLE BEFORE PASTING IN THE BOTTOM PART*
• Take your pencil tool and start making white scribbles just like she did. This adds to the look of the water and differentiates between the two blends.
•Then, take your brushes and select any one of the pen options. ( I don't know exactly which one she selected because of how fast the video is.)
• Start drawing a bending line and then proceed to make smaller lines on opposite ends to make the leaf. (This has to be done in black)
• Next chose the spray paint option and spray a dark green colour in between the spaces of the leaves.( Make sure that the spray paint width is thin)
• Now, take the select tool and copy the leaf. Once that is done, alter the size to match the appearance of an actual tree ( enlargen the canvas so you can make the leaves and copy them without making any changes to the back ground. You can cut it out later)
• Do the same for the other side of the painting.
• Your painting is almost done. Now all you have to do is make a small rocky corner. You can do this by simply selecting the brush and making the thickness maximum. You can then fill the space with black afterwards.
Notes to take into consideration:
• Make sure that you follow the blend steps exactly in the way I have mentioned it, a single mistake will ruin the entire blend
•When making the moon, you must fill it with white before addin it into the painting
• When you use the fill bucket to fill shapes, it will not work on top of the back ground. ( It will only make lines in the colour of your choice)
