Thumbs up for Amanda. Many young ladies are in this family war. In fact Amanda keep it up and encourage others in your shoes. As for Mrs Ben, please have a heart for others, what if this happened to your daughter. Kudos writer.
I really enjoy listening to your stories because I see in your scenario that you are not preaching forgiveness and it is very nice to experience it. we must involve justice in many cases in which we find ourselves. We cannot ignore justice because of forgiveness.⚖⚖⚖
Dey play. The dude watched his mum repeatedly abuse his wife without once defending her. What do you think emboldened his mother to the point of attacking her so viciously? He's as complicit as his mother is (if not more so, because he was supposed to defend his wife and his home, and he didn't) in his wife's ordeal. That marriage is dead. She did the best thing by laying it to rest.
Some relationships aren’t meant to work out. If you need to leave, then leave. No need to stay in a partnership that clearly isn’t working or making anyone happy
Well it the first commonsense story I have listen since I am watching a story with domestic abuse we need to hair more of these type of african story well done
I don't think the would have been able to work through their issues together because her husband doesn't have clear boundaries with his mother and possibly other family members. He needs to understood that he can love his mother, but as a married man he no longer needs her to guide him through every issue of life because he now has a partner to do it with. I understand her need to have the man she is with to stand up protect and fight for her. If she doesn't have it I understand why she id looking for it. Plus I was a woman discarded because I couldn't have childrens. Years later I finally had one without any special medical circumstances, but as an older mother I was once again todsed aside due to my age. I would advise her to pray about it leaving, but I wouldn't come right out and tell her to leave. Violence is not the key, but patient is loving and kind, which is the key to success.
I think the separation was for the best, Alex’s mother wasn’t going to forgive her no matter how long it took especially with no babies. She should have pleaded with the court to be easy with the judgement
Alex is a mama's boy incognito. He is a shameless man who did not defend his wife fully. Its best for her to move on. Staying in the marriage would always be a reminder of how she suffered.
All in the name of marriage... What kind of MIL is this.. God sha know that that MIL will collect. Two things are involved here, it's either that MIL never steps foot into that home after her release or the marriage is over. This kind of woman will even push her son to marry another woman
I should think it would mean the end of the marriage. How can she in good conscience continue cohabiting with the man whose mother she sent to jail? It's what it is. I'm glad the abusive MIL got her comeuppance, but it's a bit much to expect that the marriage can survive such a blow. The Yoruba say: we don't go to court as adversaries and return as friends.
