Good luck to you! You’ll get the hang of the names very soon. I’m going to hop over to Thred up and see what their Rescue boxes are all about! Thanks for the info
Thank you! There was almost nothing available for the longest while but I noticed recently they have added a BUUUUNCH of new options. I'm hoping they won't discontinue the DIY denim! 🤞
Selling clothes since 2006, and I am a size small petite, I would’ve probably kept everything in that box for myself 😅 but yes small sizes sit awhile but they eventually sell. Your box was a lot of bread n butter staple pieces and great career clothes. The sequins dress is freaking amazing
Since 2006 - that's awesome! As a small petite you could just about swap your whole wardrobe by buying ThredUp rescue boxes! LOL I'm glad to know it was a good bread and butter box at least, and I will list almost everything. And YESSSS that sequins dress!!! I wish it was my size so I could try it on just to say I wore a $3000 dress! 😂 Thank you for watching / engaging!! ❤
I've noticed in their clothing boxes they put a lot of small and petite things in there. They throw things in that they think they can't sell. I've been going to our Goodwill $2 tag sales here, because its mostly things they have priced too high and you can get quality items for less. That is why I've been sticking to mostly fun boxes. Good video - thank you for sharing it with us. ❤
Oh my gosh y'all have $2 tag sales at your Goodwill stores?! Lucky gal!! We only have 1/2 off colored tag of the week and you're lucky to find any of them b/c the day after they 'announce' the color they start pulling those items from the shelves. They even did away with the senior discount here .. naturally the year I became eligible! 😂 Thanks Carol as always for watching and engaging/boosting the algorithm! ❤
New subscriber here! I think you’re great! I am a new seller and needing to learn, learn, learn. Have you ever tried Americas Thrift Supply? Hey, you could open a store for elves! 😂
Welcome Aboard! Thank you for Subscribing! ❤ I hope you enjoy watching future - and past - videos! I like to joke that if you want to learn how NOT to do reselling, you're in the right place. And probably how not to do YT also .. I'll make all the mistakes so you don't have to! 😂
I have watched many many many ATS unboxings over the last year or so and have mixed feelings. I don't like that they niche their boxes/bales to offer "premium" ones. A premium denim box for example averages $10/item. I can go to my local thrift and cherry pick items for $10 each so I'm not taking that risk - but I see the advantage for those who can't go thrift. I would love to try a micro bale but I need at least 25% of my "everything" inventory to sell before I would have the space to process and store that much inventory! I also need to get my photo process firmed up .. I'm on attempt number ninety-three thousand and twenty four I think .. and it's still not working comfortably for me. 🤣🤣🤣😭
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! ❤ I'll definitely give it a try, I did recently learn how to repair small holes in knit items so maybe it will be worth my time to give this one a try! I appreciate you watching and commenting! 😘
I just finished going through a 200 lb mixed clothing and it was mostly size 00, 0 and XS. I never even knew they had a size 00. This has been my experience with their rescue clothes boxes. 25% will be straight to donate at a local church. Not even good enough to sell at a yard sale, but still wearable for those in need. 25% straight to yard sale and sold for $1 each. Fingers crossed, lol. 40% able to take it Buy, Sell, Trade store. If they do not buy them, then they go into yard sale. 10% listable in Ebay. Now, if I want to add more stock like you are wanting you could list the ones I try to take to the BST stores. That would give you more to work with. I also had a few pieces that had to just get thrown away. I only buy these rescue boxes now when they are on a good sale. Otherwise not worth the time. You would do better to go bin shopping at the Goodwill where you can pick and choose. Also make sure you go through each brand you do not recognize because you will always find good brands you never heard of before. ps. I think that the best pants for a curvy person (me included, lol) is anything with a boot cut or flare as it balances you out and emphasizes your curvy without advertising the extra pounds.
Oh my goodness, 200lbs of mostly small sizes - yikes! It's good that you are able to catch their sales .. I have tried many times to jump on the site when I suspected there would be one and always missed it. LOL Great idea about BST - we do have a couple in my area but they're not in "my little corner of the beach" so I never think about that. Thanks for that reminder, and for sharing your experience - super helpful!! 🥰
OH! Almost forgot - I totally agree about the bootcut or flare! I had TONS of both in my 30's / early 40's .. then discovered Old Navy Rockstar jeans (when they used to be inexpensive) and never looked back! LOL
@@flippinforchange Heck I mostly wear athletic clothes now. If I have to go out I will put on a nicer pair of scrub bottoms. They are super comfy to wear. I seem to have developed the I just don't care what people think attitude, lol.

The first item you pulled out was Free People Beach, very desirable brand may still sell with flaw if it’s not too bad
