This is the best scrapbook I’ve ever seen. I was going to start a pregnancy journal for my current pregnancy but you inspired me to do something like this instead. So cute! Your baby will love it when they’re older
I have watched many You Tube videos on baby albums & I have to say that this is the most beautiful, very detailed & well thought out book I’ve ever seen! So much inspiration in this book it blows me away! Great job ! Tfs! Tina
Your book is so unique!! I absolutely love it. I'm getting ideas now, I'm only 7 weeks along. I'm not a fan of the baby books in stores so I'd like to make my own. I love to journal as well and I think you did yours very nicely! Love the calendar idea too 😍
Hi Johanna! What happened to the video you had of your baby girls album? My sister just had a little girl and I wanted to try to replicate the beautiful layouts you had. You used to have a playlist of the album but now I can’t find it. Thanks, Erica
Thank you for Sharing!!!! Love your style! my kids are grown- but I project life for my grandchildren and this albumn gave me wonderful ideas. They are 1 & 2 ...wish I would have used a calendar and recorded there first!! thanks again for sharing! !!
Don't usually care for Project Life, but throw in pregnancy/baby photos. . .! I like it because it's not overly embellished. I like how you put in the monthly baby calendar pages. My daughter had better not need this for a good many years. But I enjoyed seeing yours. I didn't like staying at the hospital, but I did stick around for the lobster dinner all four times. I should at least write down their birth stories, although I recounted all the details on their bday. If you did PL process videos, I probably would watch because I already know you.
Glad you still found it a little interesting! I understand PL isn't for everyone! And don't worry, i have a few journal related videos lined up! ;) Gosh i don't think my hospital gives lobster! Lucky you lol! And I think it's perfectly fine to document baby stuff however suits you, even if it's pieces of things here and there!! I think the reason i obsess so much over recording EVERYTHING is just because i always enjoyed looking at my own baby pics and stuff as a kid! Also i just really enjoy it for some reason! Haha! Glad to know you over here, Janet! X
this was so inspirational! my boys are 4yr & 19mth and I've been trying to get my motivation to get it all together for them. I wish I'd just done it as I went! you've got so many great ideas!
ah Johanna what lovely books and such a neat way to look back and enjoy moments that if not captured as you have done here, run the risk memory only which is sometimes beautifully unreliable after much time : ) I love your style here to not cloud the pages so that the album itself as a whole speaks and what a record you've collected. tfs!
Love this so much! Given me lots of inspiration for the one I'm doing for my son now (it's a 6x8 though) and reminding me of some things I should go back and add to my daughter's
Hi, this is so beautiful. Can you please confirm the size of the box file? I have not kept notes of milestones as you have, but want to make the memory book for my daughter.
Have watched this video 3 times already - very inspiring, very stylish! May I ask you one question - the gold letters you've used for name etc. - which stickers are it? tried to find it by myself, but seems like it is OR discontinued, or I don't know what to look for... Thanks in advance for the answer.
Thanks for sharing this! I love PL for baby albums. May I ask what your strategy is for extra photos? For my first child, it was hard to keep it just one layout per month :-/ Do you also print extra photos and put them into a photo album or simply print for PL only? Also a fan of your calendar idea. I had a separate first year calendar, but may combine them next time. Thanks again!
You're so welcome, i'm so obsessed with project life at the moment it's great to share with others that enjoy it too!! I take soo many photos of my kids it's ridiculous, I actually print almost all my photos and just choose my very favourite for my layouts. I just keep narrowing down my choices until i have just a handful, it's probably one of the hardest parts of the process! I keep the rest of my photos in a big box for now and use them for a few different projects sometimes, i think the fact that they're printed helps me narrow it down because I know i still have hard copies somewhere lol. X
Absolutely love your album! I've watched it soo many times for inspiration :) one thing im struggling with is finding suitable title cards for the 1-12 month updates. I'm looking for basic 4x6 title cards that say "1" or "1 month" on them. Any one got any suggestions for sets or kits where i may find some? xx
Hmmm! I'm not sure! I know the baby kits have them in 6x4 cards, i think kaisercraft has a set of baby 'journal cards' (i used them in this album on the far left side of each monthly page. But I would suggest making your own! You could make them all match if you use the same base card and the same alpha stickers or something! My son just turned 1 and his album is nearly finished, oh my gosh it feels so good to have kept up with it! Best of luck with yours! XX
Hi Johanna, im just getting started on my baby book now and would like to know about your pictures. Do you print your own? What size are they? Do you round them off by hand or do they come like that? btw i love your PL album, I always walk past them in Michaels but Im so used to the traditional scrapbooks, I will definitely buy one after watching this. Thanks in advance, Monica, Vancouver BC
MonicaW MonicaW hello 😊 when I created this album I had my photos printed with a company called Snapfish, for these page protectors the photos need to be 4x6" and 4x3" to fit perfectly into the pockets (smaller works too on top of a card etc) I was using a project life corner rounder punch to round the corners of my photos. Nowadays I use my canon selphy printer to print my photos, and I'm currently working on my daughter's baby album- it's a mix of project life style and traditional 12x12 incase you want to check it out (I have a new series on my channel) xx
Hello, i buy my albums in store at Spotlight Australia, but there is also a site I have used called crafthouse which is NZ and Australia based I think. The prices really vary! You can buy a lot of stuff on sale or buy split kits on ebay.
Hello, may I ask what is the name of the vintage baby cards and ephemera in your album? I think those vintage baby images are just darling and would love to find them. Thank you so much for your help.

Thank you so much Johanna! I'm 28 weeks and found much inspiration for my baby's book. Love the clean yet creative layout!
BEAUTIFUL ALBUM. SO MUCH FUN TO SEE YOUR ART JOURNALS.
I love how you used washi and banners and dress-up the plain title cards. Loved the baby bump layout as well.
