You can apply directly to phd programs and try to get funding . I have done my masters from india and got a funded phd in the UK.

Definitely you can give a try, but to get a fully funded PhD studentship in business schools is nearly impossible.
How many of years you get VISA, if you get admission in PhD. 2nd how many days you must need to go university if you get studentship and start PhD.

yes if your scholarship doesnot cover your monthly expense then you have to show account balance for maintainance cost for 9 months
