This song is simply amazing! I showed it to my brother the other day with no concept of what it’s about or that it’s anime related and he loved it. The song alone stands!
It totally stands on its own as a song! Its about as good as metalcore gets in my opinion. This is arguably one of the most epic sounding metalcore songs ever made!
You wouldn't believe how excited I was to learn that Japan is still basically allowing metalcore anime openings in 2022 through this song. The only other metalcore anime openings/endings I've currently heard are the second OP for Death Note, the first ED for Hunter x Hunter 2011, and the OP for Parasyte (the last 2 were both songs made by the band Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). Another one I know of is the OP for this show called King's Game: The Animation, but I've heard that show really sucked so I have no intention of watching it. The OP is still dope though. Here's to hoping SiM gets to do more anime OPs this year. I remember reading a comment at one point saying that they're (the commenter, not the band) hoping to do the opening for Chainsaw Man when it finally comes out, so we'll see what happens. 🤘
This song reminds me of why I initially got into the show, and I'm really hoping it doesn't flop at the end. I have not read the manga, as I want to go into the show blind. Also, great song! I've heard some other music by this band, and their stuff is pretty darn good.
To be fair, people talk as if the ending was at the same level of Game of Thrones ending, and it's nowhere near as bad. The problems it has could be solved by minor changes and more development in some aspects.

I'm no musician but that verse 2 voice of the song feels like a little sharp unlike the verse 1 where the voice is cool and soothing to listen nonetheless the song still slaps especially 3:43
During the guitar solo he sounds tired and just worn out. There is also a part where the deep growl gets even deeper and more angry sounding. It's all intentional.
For real, Robby should just watch Parasyte -the maxim- instead and hear the song there. As someone who generally dislikes most anime, I thought Parasyte was fantastic. Way different than it looks and sounds.
@@RockingWithRobby well it depends of your faste. If you want something quite similar to the rumbling there is Existence. If you want something more nu-metal then Lion’s Den seems great. Finally, if you want to experience more of their ska vibes, go for Sand castle ! Now it’s up to you ;)

These are the songs that I would like to recommend: 1. Blah Blah Blah 2. GUNSHOTS 3. Dance in the Dark 4. AMY 5. WHO IS NEXT 6. Make Me Dead 7.
