    I love watching these videos. Sometimes I find myself scrolling through Reddit to find new containers to try out and it's hit and miss but watching your videos usually ends up with me installing a bunch of containers as they're so useful along with your video demonstrations Thanks 🙏

    I have been on the search of the best way to keep notes over the years. This seems like a great solution!!

    Very cool note taking app. I recently made the switch to Joplin from Onenote and it is amazing. I love the ability to sync across all my devices securely, encrypted notes, and web clipper that snaps webpages and automatically adds it to your notes.

      I don't think you will get lot's of love for switching from Open source to bigtech.

    Awesome video!
    I've been following you for a bit. I'm wondering if you can do a video on backing up docker containers or some sort of back up strategy.

    Great app @dbtech. Now all we need is multiple user accounts and a way to import notes from Joplin.

    That is pretty slick. I have been using a combination of Droppy because I like that it creates individual text files if you need it to and Trilium for random notes. I really like the 2FA availability in this. That might make this worthy of actually hosting outside my home network!

    I really like the search option. Many times I quickly write down a note (reminder) so I don't enter categories, tags... That's why the search option is great for me 🙂 Clean and simple note-taking 👍

    Still looking for a self-hosted Standard Notes replacement that is 100% free and isn't buggy as heck. E2EE, mobile app, web app, etc. seems like it doesn't exist yet.

    Anybody knows how to back the data for this container? I checked the data folder and there is no data even though I have a bunch of notes saved already. Thanks

      This is why I install most of my containers like this in a Proxmox setup. Proxmox has a great backup solution

      @@DBTechYT Thanks for the quick reply and great idea. On the proxmox idea now, I'm about to add a drive to store VMs and containers. What do you recommend? LVM-Thin or ZFS. Thanks

      @DBTechYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I started with LVM-Thin, then later moved to ZFS. Now I'm using NFS for my proxmox containers

    Hi DB Tech, great, I was just looking for a decent and simple note keeper.
    Is there anyway to give access to more than one user using authentications? So that all the family can have their own flatnotes access?

    • @DBTechYT
      @DBTechYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is only for a single user. You'd have to set up a new instance for each user

  • @Trains-With-Shane

    So I wanted to ask here before I post this to the support on the project page. Anybody else have issues getting set up with 2FA? When I scan the QR the authentication app says "Invalid Barcode" I tried regenerating 32 character strings, etc. several times.

    Just in time. Triliium has just gone into permanent maintenance mode, so this looks ok for now. Can you suggest a dock image with similar features to Trilium?
    I subbed of course!
