Let's be honest, Levan showed sportsmanship on the first round. It was like he did that for the fans. I knew he was going to do that before it started. It would be great if you could somehow hear better what the two are saying to each other. Especially with Devon. You can clearly see how he is trashtalking and trying to get into his opponents head. But Levan stays solid and continues his game. I love this kind of competitiveness from both sides! Maybe you could put a microphone somehow in the table or at the refs.
Levan actually gassed Devon in round 1. IDK if this was intentional or Levan was just holding back because he was testing his wrist and also trying to avoid injuring Devon. Either way, Devon had absolutely nothing left for rounds 2, 3 and 4. You can see Devon huffing and puffing right after the first round.

Levan said that his wrist wasn't 100% and that he could get injured if he put 100% of his strength, he used that 1 round to warm up his wrist .
But Devon really got worn out after the 1st round, he didn't keep the pace
Levan was playing too safe 1st round cuz of his wrist, and didn't go immediately for pin - but because of that Devon got too much purchase on his hand that he couldn't even get a proper grip back.
Otherwise Levan's arm felt nothing, he lost his hand and couldn't pronate or cup, but he said using his side pressure was so easy allowing him to get into a press.
If he went for the pin the same way as in round 2+, it would've been a flashpin

I think Devon's setup in the first round was better. Yes, in the other rounds his got he hand deeper inside of Levan's hand, but i don't think Levan really minds that since his pronator is so incredible strong. I think Devon's setup shenanigans didn't help him vs Levan. Levan's fingers were lower on devon's hand, making it easier for him to flex his wrist, which in turn allowed him to use his other strengths more efficiently.
