tnt does actually have a block state (unstable) that makes it explode when destroyed. if that were used, it would not affect kenadian's original escape but it prevents your cheese in the rising lava room

Luckily kenadian did the video for the memes, he is luckily not that bad at escape rooms nor designs them so terribly AHEM (omziscool you should be taking notes)
Well, keep in mind there was still a storyline going on. He had to use the hoppers so he could accidentally give Omz more power, and in the storyline, it was perfectly plausible that the tnt would explode. With the sign, in his other videos he talks about how there are simpler solutions, like breaking the sign, instead of throwing away an item, which he did to make fun of the other escape artists who don't do the simpler choice. And I think he changed the block to a netherite block to make his escape be one of those "Ooh the main character made it out just in time" kind of situations, and yes the way he got past the lava room was, in fact, more entertaining that cheesing it like you did. He did the escape room the way he did for the storyline and for the entertainment, not to be quick. His was still pretty good, and it all came together in the end.
The amount of comments with overused jokes is… quite expected, to be honest. Of course people would milk that “amount of comments with x is scary” thing dry of all the comedy.
It's actually possible to beat the escape room much faster by abusing a dupe: Drop the glass panes on the floor, save, pick them up, alt+f4, restart minecraft, reload, pick up the panes again. Then you can repeat that a couple times and climb out through the hole in the ceiling in the starting room where the dropper is.
This was actually a really smart move by Kenadian. He was bound to receive some backlash for his debunks if people figured out his own escape room was fake, and this was a neat way to avoid it.

Half of the comments are people getting mad at Kenadian for debunking Kenadian (as in himself), getting told the joke by other people, then saying some variation of "Oh," "Whoops," "Sorry," or saying that they know and are just joking around as well. Honestly, the ones where they just say "Oh" (and nothing else) in response are actually funnier than even the regular comments that make up the other half of the comments section.
The problem with these debunks is that, just because there is an easier solution, this does not mean you are debunking anything. To do that you have to prove that he misled the audience in the video. He implied that he hadn’t seen this prison before by using this general format, and unless you can prove that he has or that the answers are so easily found that it is highly unlikely he would miss them. I will say that he probably should have thought of a the lever and the boat floating, but I’d still consider it within human error to make these such mistakes

Half of the comments are people getting mad at Kenadian for debunking Kenadian (as in himself), getting told the joke by other people, then saying some variation of "Oh," "Whoops," "Sorry," or saying that they know and are just joking around as well. Honestly, the ones where they just say "Oh" (and nothing else) in response are actually funnier than even the regular comments that make up the other half of the comments section.

The problem with these debunks is that, just because there is an easier solution, this does not mean you are debunking anything.
To do that you have to prove that he misled the audience in the video. He implied that he hadn’t seen this prison before by using this general format, and unless you can prove that he has or that the answers are so easily found that it is highly unlikely he would miss them. I will say that he probably should have thought of a the lever and the boat floating, but I’d still consider it within human error to make these such mistakes
