Honestly the whole point of Early Access is to find the issues and bugs, get the players feedback and hopefully institute the most common request into the gameplay if it is feasibly possible. ACC sucked to a degree at launch as well and over time became one of the best racing sims ever released and ACC is still releasing DLC content for that game even a number of years later. Just hope this studio puts in the same effort as Kunos did!
the difference is that ACC was a completely new game truly made "from the ground up", tracks, cars, everything. Thats really not the case with LMU, given rf2 it should've launched even as EA much more stable and polished. on top of this, Kunos announced very early that it will be one car one track, just like with AC back in the day while LMU basically pulled the EA rabbit out of the hat quite shortly before the planned release while before we were meant to believe that a fully polished product will release. so context is king here when bringing up "BUT ACC..." arguments.
@@th3orist Delayed launch dates and EA is a way of life now in the gaming industry as witnessed by games such as Balders Gate 3 and COH3. I really don’t know what you did, because I had zero crash on a 5 hour game session, no hud bug while driving. Yes there is a certain amount of open and close the game for some settings, but all that took me like 1h30 max max. For me it’s really promising, but they really need to fix some point you mentioned
Just like with Rfactor2 they're getting things fixed. My fear is its going to take awhile before they have this running smoothly. Altogether what they have done with Rfactor2 is amazing right now. Online racing and actual driver rank and safety rating has been good. GT3 cars are fantastic in it now hopefully that all transfers into a quality game for Lemans Ultimate. I will wait a bit to buy until bugs are ironed out.

I had no performance issues at all. Not even online. Just the lack of grip after not being pointed out straight, after exiting a corner. Probably a skill issue, but I liked it the game, except the time it took me to get the FFB on my G29 working. Took me 1.5 hours.
What exactly did you do to fix it on g29? I could not brake with any confidence. The wheels just lock up and my steering becomes numb and straight it goes, like no grip at all. Ffb was good on turns but on straights and mild turns ffb was nil.
Nailing the exists is crucial in LMU. One trick going faster is to be under the limit in some circumstance, especially last sector Fuji to keep the tyre-temps below red.

Always support the devs, give them feedback, allow them the time to improve it and we will have an awesome full game in the near future. The more sims we have the better!
Early access is really for people who are super keen to give it a go in an unfinished state. To many it's better to have a go on something unfinished than it is to just lust over screenshots and videos. Plus those hardcore followers are rewarded by a cheaper price. I'm not buying tracks in iRacing this season and LMU is currently the price of 2 iRacing tracks 😲
it is truly unfortunate this sim is missing the most important factor to enable it to compete with ACC / I racing ..... the damage modeling . Until its implemented ill make my purchase then . Its crazy that even simcades like forza have a better damage model.
I saw Kireth playing around with the position to start, and it went up to 103 on the LeMans track! I can't wait to see some races with 103 cars!!! No wait! I thought RF2's online servers are 💩.
It's early access. And that means that people, like for any other game, should buy it only if they want to help the devs make the game better because everyone buying an early access game is, in fact, a betatester. And there's a HUGE banner on Steam on every early access telling people literally that, with all the risks involved. I simply don't understand why so many people still expect a game released that way to be like a day1 bugless product when it's usually a first public beta version, if not something more than an alpha.
Early access definition in motorsport game: we are running out of money and couldnt meet the expected date so we are releasing it in early acess to not get sued and make load of money
Based on the GT3 cars sounds, i dont think the sound is realistic, the Aston Martin did not sound good at all. Since those cars dont have distinctive sound(LMP cars) they do sound good cause you dont really know how they sound in real life as they dont have the road legal version.
@@virtual_GaRyyeah that's correct, I would not expect that to be fixed any time soon, iRacing has the same issues but it's much better for the most part.
if anyone wants to try the game remember that steam refunds it if you play less than 2 hours, so just try for yourself too. (i'm saying this because i've bought when launched, played for 1 hour and =~30min and got a refund)
Is fine is early access and all BUT if anything, the fact they're carrying the same type of issues they had and did not fixed in rFactor 2 that's a bad sign of things to come, they're either not capable or they don't care

Yes, but you need to type in your settings manually in the .ini file, it's not hard but it's annoying, if you already have rFactor2 setup with triples you can copy paste the settings over.
I'm 50/50 with this game 🎮 after hearing this menu issues, hud issues. Basic Ollie had a glitch when he selected 1st and the car went 2,000,000 mph 😅 then the game went dead, the FFB was at 810,000% his hand was almost gone , I think there a lot of work to do with LMU. TBH I'd rather wait till LMU sort it self out at a later date 📅 then I'll buy it
physics and ffb for you are positives? these are 5 levels below rf2 which is an incredible achievement for s123 considering the whole game is based on rf2 😂
What game releases these days ever comes out perfect day one? This is a industry issue with all developers. The people who are actually working on the game are under some unrealistic time deadline to have the game go public, when it is not ready. For example the recent release of Helldivers 2. Day one was met with bugs and the server was overwhelmed. Players who could log in would stay in the que for hours even days so they didn't have to wait to get back into the server. Effectively locking out player's trying to get in to play. The devs had to come out with a patch that would kick anyone out of the server that jammed up others ability to enter. That didn't happen overnight. A lot of these games are rushed and don't have the content that should be there on day one. Then nickel and dime you to death with dlc content that probably should have been there at launch.
Awful lot of copium going around. People giving it all kinds of passes for it's state when it was supposed to be a full release last year and now it's a broken Early Access title that was 3 months or more late

studio 397 make the sim and if you pay attention to what's going on the devs are working hard to make a good product with what they have. LMU is a good sim but it has bugs like any new product, but is still completely playable and the online racing is miles ahead of sims like iracing or ams2. I see hundreds of these comments and it always seems to be from people that don't actually play the sim, just repeating what they hear from others
@@JallyTee heres a tidbit for you…I am an ACC league admin, have over 1,800 hours on the sim, sat through the entire motorsports games saga as a nascar fan hoping theyd release good games. I then did my research on MSG after they tanked the Nascar game. Studio 397 made rfactor2. This game is all rfactor2 with a rebrand to le mans. MSG owns studio 397. MSG owns rfactor2. MSG owns the le mans license and is in charge of this game as they are in charge of studio 397. So no, we arent just repeating what we hear dude…these are cold hard facts. This game will likely fail as MSG has no cash left and is in the process of being dissolved. They pumped this out in hopes they could make some cash and be able to sell it to another company. They have no other games to offer in their portfolio so they had to get this game out now or never.
You are comparing a simulator with advanced physics engine and a very advanced tire model that consumes a lot of CPU, with ACC that is an empirical model (UE) and iracing that is and old game (codebase of NASCAR Racing 2003) with old graphics, physic and tire model. Setup your graphics or buy better PC is all you need and relax while loading, the first loading of a track is more slow than next time because first time load in cache

I run triple 1440 and I get ok performance for my system, about 80fps but I had to tweak the preset graphics and my menus are a little laggy, Do you run a single monitor? I'm wondering if this is the problem, it's not optimised for triples yet

Bugs, massive crashes that required restarts, bad performance even on modern systems. Some didn't have those crashes, but a lot of people did and the issue is definitely the game since all of the other sims run just fine.

Do you actually remember the first day of the ACC? It was a disaster. Le Mans on its first day of access, in my opinion, is incredibly good. So I don't agree with you saying you won't play the game anymore. By saying this, you are not giving the game any credit, since the game has already started very well. It would be wise to support new simulators and not just stick to sponsored ones!
Why would anyone give these guys the benefit of the doubt? This game literally does nothing unique nor does it do anything better than whats out there already.
I don't care about spending money, as I have spent many thousands already on this hobby, but I think this should be a DLC for RF2 because that's what it is. I love RF2 physics and FFB but hate the graphics and performance. I love the Le Mans track etc. but I'm not buying this DLC because I already have it in AMS2 in VR and Triples and it is finished and polished with superb AI so why would I bother?

If you have a NASA pc yes, It takes me 1.5min-2min to load into a track. That's nothing tbh, it takes longer on FM2023.
ahahaha, not NASA just nvme 990 pro and 13900k, 10 seconds ;)@@thatfunnykekguy6377
I’ll get it when the finished game releases. Not paying to beta test it for them.
If you’re fine paying maybe double the price do it.
lol you can pay $33 usd now or $60-70 plus on full release! You pay half now for the full game down the line
Early access is really for people who are super keen to give it a go in an unfinished state. To many it's better to have a go on something unfinished than it is to just lust over screenshots and videos. Plus those hardcore followers are rewarded by a cheaper price. I'm not buying tracks in iRacing this season and LMU is currently the price of 2 iRacing tracks 😲
is it feels like gt7 when u driving?
it is truly unfortunate this sim is missing the most important factor to enable it to compete with ACC / I racing ..... the damage modeling . Until its implemented ill make my purchase then . Its crazy that even simcades like forza have a better damage model.
do you know where the race director voice is or is that not coming until the game is out of early access
can you share dd settings?
I saw Kireth playing around with the position to start, and it went up to 103 on the LeMans track! I can't wait to see some races with 103 cars!!! No wait! I thought RF2's online servers are 💩.
What setting did you change to stop all the car movement? One of the lock to horizon settings?
Yeah
@@Jardier Thanks. Do you know what setting you have yours on?
Would you mind posting your grafics and ffb settings?
It's early access. And that means that people, like for any other game, should buy it only if they want to help the devs make the game better because everyone buying an early access game is, in fact, a betatester. And there's a HUGE banner on Steam on every early access telling people literally that, with all the risks involved.
I simply don't understand why so many people still expect a game released that way to be like a day1 bugless product when it's usually a first public beta version, if not something more than an alpha.
Early access definition in motorsport game: we are running out of money and couldnt meet the expected date so we are releasing it in early acess to not get sued and make load of money
OMG SAME MENU PROBLEM WITH ME!!!!
You could just change setting ms correctly first
thanks for the quick video.
Had some issues, but as an early access game, this is great. I expect great things with this.
can you hide steering wheel and hands? like in acc for example
Theres an option to hide the wheel
ahoj jaky použivaš přesne kokpit

Just a few things:
-No microtransactions
-No ingame currency
-No season pass
Only the pure joy of racing!
Based on the GT3 cars sounds, i dont think the sound is realistic, the Aston Martin did not sound good at all. Since those cars dont have distinctive sound(LMP cars) they do sound good cause you dont really know how they sound in real life as they dont have the road legal version.
Thanks Jards for the info, the racing looks great. Hopefully they’ll sort out the bugs 👍
Sounds a lot like ams2 (or is it rf2) where you have to exit the session to do simple video settings.
Probably a graphics engine limitation. Many games have been like that.
Love the marketing they turn games in ALPHA status into early access trolling 👿 the players into feeling special for enjoying all the bugs 😂
Is fine is early access and all BUT if anything, the fact they're carrying the same type of issues they had and did not fixed in rFactor 2 that's a bad sign of things to come, they're either not capable or they don't care
i didnt have any problems with this game with nothing, everything was smooth and menu too, so no idea what R U talking aboit, but maybe somebody have issues...for me suberb game! remember this is early access!
Triple screen support?
Yes, but you need to type in your settings manually in the .ini file, it's not hard but it's annoying, if you already have rFactor2 setup with triples you can copy paste the settings over.
I'm 50/50 with this game 🎮 after hearing this menu issues, hud issues. Basic Ollie had a glitch when he selected 1st and the car went 2,000,000 mph 😅 then the game went dead, the FFB was at 810,000% his hand was almost gone , I think there a lot of work to do with LMU. TBH I'd rather wait till LMU sort it self out at a later date 📅 then I'll buy it
Does the game have any advertising in it? Buy this or add a new track ...?
I am interested, but advertising in game is a big NO for me.
Good resume for this EA! Good game but lot of Little trouble… Hope they fixed it fast! V sync fixed a lot of issues!
Ahoj, Jaroslave.👋 Držím palce…😉👍👍
Jede si svůj life ❤
I hope they fix it because driving the Porsche 963 suits you sir. 😎
physics and ffb for you are positives? these are 5 levels below rf2 which is an incredible achievement for s123 considering the whole game is based on rf2 😂
If it's in early access you have to wait before decision
I do not have a beast of a computer, and it took about the same time to load for me as you. Something is definitely wrong there.
you now its earley acces think our comments will change or update all i have no issue
My only issue was the FFB on my G29 not registering until I hit 220kph with any car. The rest run more fluid than other full released games.
So another words, nothing has changed with ANYTHING motorsports games touches. Par for the course!
Awful lot of copium going around. People giving it all kinds of passes for it's state when it was supposed to be a full release last year and now it's a broken Early Access title that was 3 months or more late
@@chrisnorrell7489 Remember how ACC started? Remember how AMS2 started? Every modern sim racing title needs at least a year to become somewhat good these days. LMU has potential and if they develop it at the same rate Kunos have with ACC, it's gonna be pretty good by the end of the year.
@@Law0fRevenge rennsport is utter trash compared to this and no one seems to talk about it
studio 397 make the sim and if you pay attention to what's going on the devs are working hard to make a good product with what they have.
Looks good, i buy it in december 2024 😅
You are comparing a simulator with advanced physics engine and a very advanced tire model that consumes a lot of CPU, with ACC that is an empirical model (UE) and iracing that is and old game (codebase of NASCAR Racing 2003) with old graphics, physic and tire model. Setup your graphics or buy better PC is all you need and relax while loading, the first loading of a track is more slow than next time because first time load in cache
Fuck man I wish someday it comes out in console.
I tried it and it´s literally rFactor 2, but with less content :D
It’s a small team of passionate devs who were on the verge of losing their jobs and had no. Notice but releasing the game as is.. Felling cheated because the game releases late and in early access for 30 euros is a bit strange.
For me it was very smooth. I lirerally pressed next, next, next. Opened wheel settings, it's all mapped already. I put settings to mostly high. Never seen less than 100 fps. Menu is also smooth. There was not even a second when I was "what ze fuck?". And I hate rf2 menu and performance with passion. Seems like hit or miss at the moment.
I run triple 1440 and I get ok performance for my system, about 80fps but I had to tweak the preset graphics and my menus are a little laggy, Do you run a single monitor? I'm wondering if this is the problem, it's not optimised for triples yet
@@JallyTee I'm on a single screen, yeah
Guys it's Day One of EA
Remember ACC on Day 1??
This is why they went to early access. I'm sure they will fix it.
the bots are rolling in 💀
The AI is the same as Forza Motorsport, they simply don't care and cross in your line even if you are faster.
Good thing AMS2 dropped some endurance content to hold over until this gets patched & fixed
This has functional online so it already clears AMS2.
@@namesii1880but broken triple screen support so no it doesnt
@@namesii1880 it's almost unplayable for many users man lol it hasn't cleared anything yet until it gets fixed. This could take months or even longer.
Potential is there but needs a lot of work
@@10mmGR You can configure tripples under config.ini, just read the readme
Early de ACC was much worse than that, I find the ffb/physics excellent and the graphics and sound immersive.
Uninstalled and refund it in just 15 min. And by Studio 397 standard, it wont be fixed ever.
Early access for those saying it’s incomplete
Early access has to be measured against ACC years ago......not 2024???? Come on.....
just a comment..........i'm paying money for this game......................for what? sick of paying for stuff that does not work..............try my product..................I need the money!
Something is definitely up with your pc, I get 150fps on ultra with triple 32s. I’m running an Rtx 4090 though and loading times takes like 20 seconds to load so…
In one of the communities I race in we have a whole channel dedicated to the game and the reports from the experiences so far pretty much mirror what's been said in the video. Bugs, massive crashes that required restarts, bad performance even on modern systems. Some didn't have those crashes, but a lot of people did and the issue is definitely the game since all of the other sims run just fine.
Remember, there are some forza motorsport fans hoping for they game be fixed one day 😂
Tried for 2 hours, refund ....try again in 6 months (for me not playable with fun) Thanks for Video!👍
you covered it jardier mostly.... a modern game to load / or not perform like this in 2024 ... sadly most will not stick around
i was a rF2 fan .... .... but come on times have moved on ... graphically load times etc ..
we had nokia phones which were great back in the day .. but who uses one now?... thats progress
i feel a bit robbed to play a game that looks like this as a new release title only to be a re skinned rF2
with no visual wow factor
when i booted it up ... in fact it looked embarrassing .. flat/slow loading /// crashing .
like i said i was an rF2 fan .. but theres only so much you can wring out of a engine like rf2 before it needs to move to the next level
this sadly isnt it .
I prefer wait, play LMU and Rf2 and never play again ACC ^^
I would say I really want to support it, but I always support the suckers EA... So I guess I'll wait.
Gave it a go and refunded. Will keep an eye out for progress but in no hurry to buy now...
I bought it, installed it, and refunded it immediately because of the dropped fps and the lack of view adjustments
You can adjust the view tho ^^' You can map a button to it and change it on the fly
@tintin1715 height distance and fov are adjustable but not pitch. I have to raise the seat as high as possible to get the wheel to line up with mine.
Pitch is adjustable@@RowdyBurnz
@@RowdyBurnz pitch can be adjusted mate. Lack of triple support is pissing me off.
@@GSSimRacing Dave cam has trips working... fov (pitch) is not the same unless I'm missing something
It's cr#p
anything around RF2 & beyond is never Worth any chance of trying,, Save moneys
This is scrap
i refunded it, lmh's drive like crap, the whole game just feels like a reskinned rf2 with better sound, it still has the rf2 jankyness to it
So it's already better than AMS2 sh1t
If that thought makes you happy then sure.. why not @@jorge_781
I appreciate it's in Early Access, but it's the fact 1. they're charging £25 for an early access game, and 2. people are actually paying it!! Absolute madness. Gamers can't continue to moan about broken games when they're will to pay top dollor to essentially be a tester.
25$ is a good dinner which last less than 1 hour.
Using that analogy, Jardier has just had dinner missing a folk, his starter and half of his main meal. I'd be wanting a word with the restaurant owner. @@jorge_781
Early access, ofc it is not optimized on the first day. Those whining npc commenters are delusional.
How dare they expect something thats playable and at least somewhat polished and not be a reskin of a different game.
@@kaco3627 would you rather they build it from the ground up and have it drive like rennsport? they made the right choice now they need to refine it
