My favorite Christmas memories were when my family & I lived in So. California. My folks were friends with about 10 families on our suburban street. Every Christmas Eve everyone went around to each others houses and had snacks, eggnog or cider or cookies! It was so much fun!🎁🎄🎅❤️
Your family is lucky to have an amazing caretaker; you do so much. One of my favorite memories is when my mom would plug in the garland and tree and turn off all of the other lights. It was magical to sit in the dark with all of those lights.

I was a direct support professional (same as the pss) for almost 20 years. It’s so hard to keep up a house when you do that all day. I hated coming home and have to clean lol
Some days I really really feel that way like it's just something else on top of something else and I don't think a lot of people get that unless they are in a caretaker position. Whether it's paid outside the home paid inside the home or just something that they do on a daily basis because it has to be done. I will say I feel very very blessed indeed that I am paid to do it inside of my home because if not we would be up a creek without a paddle.
In W. Germany, we lived there for 4 yrs and we always got the german chocolate advent calendar and my dad would make me wait til after dinner to open it in front of him. I miss him so much. He passed away march 2010.
I lost the footage. Big surprise there right? Haha. But it snowed on Thanksgiving night. Thanksgiving didn't go as well as I had planned on many levels so to see it was snowing was a huge happiness point for myself. It really is so beautiful. I love the fresh fallen snow.

Good morning. That is good to know that your a ppv for your hubby. I had no idea they had this option. It is so good. Many spouses need to be caring for there spouses. Im always cleaning and Christmas decorating . My hubby does outside the Christmas lights A christmas time memory one but i have many happy memoriesthis is one. My mom and dad would and my big sister and i would walk downtown in the city. Look in store front windows at all thd Christmas displays and toys inside. demonstrations of the yo yo. Fast track race cars. Big walking talking dolls. I was scared of Santa 🎅 so i wouldn't go on his lap for a photo. I,d stand up beside him with my mom's leggs in the photos. 😂 my mother made everything from scratch cakes, pie 🍞. Always had big pot of soup snd stew ready for her family and friends. Baked breads cinnamon rolls tea coffee on the stove percolator. We were a family of 7. I dont know how my mother did everything. Cook clean sew bake can foods and veggies and fish for winter time. Make her own jam. Wow thanks Mom. You remind me of my mother. Such a nice demeanor. And thanks to my daddy too. He became unable to work. So my mother cared for him. And we had 3 dogs . 2 cats. Birds. Chickens. Quiet the busy home. We had a wood stove in our living room for heating in our first home. We eventually gotten a new house. My dad built our first home. My mother would also go care for her mother and my dads mother through the day. If her family sibling's didnt make it. I always would have loved to see my mom just relax. She lived to 98 years old. Then i was her care giver at her home. God bless Moms and god bless you 🙏 ❤️ 🙌 ♥️ you have a very lucky family full of love all around and it shows. I clean my own way and time. Like you say it is what it is. I liked that. 😊 ✌️ 🌎 ❤ 👋
They changed the rules during Covid. Thankfully. I am only allowed 34 hours though because we are married. Your memories are beautiful ones. Your Mom sounded like a beautiful person.
