Another well made video going through the Metroliner Cab Car Tutorial. I like the DLC but it does have its ups and downs. One clear down is the bugs that came with the DLC. But I do like that the Cab Cars are on the TSW Northeast Corridor, as well as the SW1000R. I’ve been waiting for some variety here. But, that being said, this DLC needs some patches to be suitable for regular simulations.

These days in real life all trains have a cab inside of the rear car that allows the train to be controlled without having to switch the locomotive to the other end of the consist, that has been one of the reasons why railroad turntables are no longer used and basically phased out except for in the yard to put engines into the sheds.
First of all, Dovetail (more like dovefail) completely forgot the fact that Metroliners came BEFORE Amfleets. There is no such thing as “Amfleet Cab cars”, and there never will be. These are former metroliners, which the Amfleets were based off of.
Probably for conspicuity so anyone looking might notice the odd striping and realize the train is coming towards them if they thought it was moving the direction of the locomotive.
This DLC is full of game breaking bugs the tutorials are all wrong and need an overhaul the brake mode needs to be in LEAD not trail horn and bell are completely incorrect per an AMTRAK ENGINEER the physics are completely wrong the Switcher tutorial is full of bugs as well as the locomotive itself with the horn being wrong Bell is correct all and all DTG fucked up on this one especially since Matt on Twitch was stuck in the cabcar and couldn't get power because of the bugs

Nigel Green unfortunately the E60 may not be added due to none of them being in service now.

The whole traincar itself is incorrect, the cab door you enter from the window is not supposed to like like that.
