    I took this as an opportunity to work on my speed on trails I haven't seen before. No, the video is not sped up.

    So funny at 0:57 the guy was mid sentence and Max, half a second later is already ignition then immediate throttle at like 27mph. Those guys are never catching up. And again at 8:03, lolol. They’re still on their phones helmets off and Max is like “I’m just gonna go check this out down here”. 😂

      I didn't realize Max was filming this (besides the initial intro). I can't impress upon the viewers how rugged, steep, rocky and difficult this trail is.
      I'm glad I (and all my riding buddies) taught him these mad skills, LOL!

      I’d say it’s softer and stiffer than stock. Softer at the top and stiffer at the bottom.

    Riding like that for the first 10 minuets like you were is why the trails get whooped out dude. You certainly are “tipping” some fun little trail. If you want to “rip” like that go to a motocross track daddyo.

    • @marshallgerston4809
      @marshallgerston4809 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I thought about your reply overnight. And while I see your point, I've done countless trail maintenance days with the forest service, and have been riding trails for longer than I'd like to remember. I have a slightly different take on it. While any activity certainly causes trail erosion and wear, once whoops start - due to normal wear, then, as we all know, they get worse over time. Here's why. It rains and water collects in the bottom. Then when slow guys (like me) come through - wha, wha, wha, we splash the mud, water and dirt out of the bottom. It gets spit out to the side and it collects on the top of the next whoop, therefore compounding the problem. When fast guys (like Max) hit the whoops, they dance across the tops rarely touching the mud/water in the low points.
      So, I guess I'd argue that slower guys cause more wear than guys who ride light, dance across the tops, ride the edges and pick better lines.

    • @andygilliland

      Scared of whoops, dude
