I had this Elgato HD6OX few days ago. But my Elgato just flash red lights or no lights. Tried different USB 3.0 C cable and HDMIs. Plugging and unplugging them. Still not working or no signal on OBS or 4K utility but it shows my game on my monitor.

If I turn VRR on PS5 or Series X, then the stream is very jumpy. Soon, as I turn it off, the stream is fine. As of right now, VRR is useless. If I try dual PC streaming, it is never very smooth. I am also running a very high-end setup. My gaming PC is RTX 4080, 32 gig of ram, and a 5800x CPU connected to a 32 inch 165hz 4k NEO Mini Qled Samsung gaming display. Gaming monitor supports freesync, gsync, and VRR and is HDR 2000. My streaming PC is QHD laptop with 5900HS CPU, RTX 3070, and 16 gigs of ram. I have spent 100+hrs trying so many different things and still I can't get a smooth stream on PC games or VRR to work right with this capture card. My internet is 1gig up/down fiber so it's high end too. I think my issue could be frame pacing. Fps in game, refresh on monitor, and gsync/freesync/vrr cause the frames not to line up properly with a 1080p 60fps stream. I need serious help because this is ridiculous that I am having so much trouble while others, with way less money invested, have smoother streams.
The lack of multi-app capability you're talking about is a limitation of windows. Any video device (be it capture card or camera) can be captured by only one app in windows and that's it. The only solution is to use some virtual camera duplicator app (pretty sure there are some apps like that), but that will obviously use your pc resources and introduce some delay into the duplicated source.
I’ve been trying to record ps54 gameplay onto my iPad using the hd60 x and the elgato software on the App Store. I’ve been playing around with the resolutions because it says that it is having a problem upscaling the signal so it can’t record. I can get the signal to go through to my TV but it just wont work with the sodftware on my iPad

If you are using game capture from Elgato that could be why but you could always add a filter to it in your stream software and bring up the vibrance or saturation a bit. Problem solved 😁

I’ve reset my laptop thinking maybe it was my fault for messing around with the settings, that didn’t work. I’ve messed around with the audio settings in OBS, that didn’t work either. Hmmm, To be honest, I don't know enough about moble streaming to give you a straight answer. I would first go to twitter or elgato website and tweet @elgatosupport or send in a ticket on their website. as for noise, If it is like his or hum or white noise like that, then it's got to be something else in the system that is making that problem. The capture card won't make those sounds. You can always tweet at me on twitter and I can try escalate it with Elgato.

Unfortunately this "tutorial Step by Step" didn't help my problem. I have a single monitor Samsung Odyssey that I am using for both my PC and Xbox Series X. I load up the 4K capture utility, it starts to record the audio, but no video.

Can someone please help me with my audio issue? I got my HD60X the other day and have been EAGERLY trying to stream to OBS on my laptop through Xbox series S. I’ve reset my laptop thinking maybe it was my fault for messing around with the settings, that didn’t work. I’ve messed around with the audio settings in OBS, that didn’t work either. I just want to stream cyberpunk and some multiplayer games with friends, but my HD60X will just not capture any game audio. Thanks in advance!

I bought HD60 X for iphone 13 but whenever i connect with adaptor and play games and videos it produce distortion noise...
please help/suggest me is there any solution to remove noise or should i return my HD 60 X and buy HD 60s+ for mobile to pc streaming ..??
Hmmm, To be honest, I don't know enough about moble streaming to give you a straight answer. I would first go to twitter or elgato website and tweet @elgatosupport or send in a ticket on their website. as for noise, If it is like his or hum or white noise like that, then it's got to be something else in the system that is making that problem. The capture card won't make those sounds. You can always tweet at me on twitter and I can try escalate it with Elgato.

Hi very useful information. I hope you answer my question. The HDMI source PC(where the game is) does it show in the device manager that the HDMI goes to Elgato? Or it shows the actual screen pass through it like a Dell monitor? I mean is this hardware stealthy?

Something I did not see "the largest complete tutorial". Video title - to attract attention. And all videos are a retelling of information from the Elgato website.
Unfortunately this "tutorial Step by Step" didn't help my problem. I have a single monitor Samsung Odyssey that I am using for both my PC and Xbox Series X. I load up the 4K capture utility, it starts to record the audio, but no video.

Thank you. However I've diagnosed the problem that my PC USB ports are not 3.0 and basically, replacing the refurbished 3yr old PC is the best option. 😅
