While you were wrapping your vase with jute, I couldn't help but notice that leaving a few strands towards the top loose and estray looked really nice! I'm planning to try and will share results

Little tip... when making your "shiplap" lines onto your foam board, make your line in pencil first, then take the end of a skinny paint brush and lightly run it along the ruler over the pencil line to create a light dented line. Then take a sharpie or paint pen. It will give the appearance that there's actually a space in between the "wood" and not just drawn on.
You guys did great on these diys!! I definitely want to try the 1st 2 projects. I love the look of that bowl and was thinking of using it for decor on my coffee table?? Or may just stick with the succulent planter idea...? LOVE IT YOU GUYS!! Keep crafting together!🥰❤

Great ideas as usual. I would like to make the garden dish with the Rick's and faux succulents. I moved to a huge condo if 20 yrs to my moms and basically just have my bedroom and the outside porch us my baby too. She never did anything with it for 4 yrs I cleaned the heck out of it laid down carpet decorated it in a nautical flare. I am big decoupage crafter. I have decoupaged nice Christmas fabric to the underside of the dish garden and put Christmss cookies in them with the nice cellophane around it and a bow and then they can reuse the bowl. But I would like to get a garden bowl now and put white rocks in it and maybe some sand and die dome sand blue and make a beach scene and put some of my mini shells from Sanibel Island in it and mini beach chairs if I can find any in the doll house section.
I love that crate you made too. Everything you make is awesome I have not disliked anything yet. Your both very talented. What do you both do for your day jobs? I am a inventory clerk for the largest wholesale GM parts dept in Va and we supply garages and body shop parts for DC MD VA. 3 times a yr we throw out $25,000 on new parts. I keep all the brass engine oil seal washers because I make jewerly with them and last fall I sold a necklace for $40. I keep the leather manual holders from the luxury cars to reuse the leather. I keep silver washers and lots of other cool things. I hate waste. Hope your 4th of July was great.

These are awesome, all look very high end. I definitely want to try your painting technique, the way you rub the paint in makes it look so much better than the paint strokes. The end caps you put on your planter looks so much better than without, I've never seen than done before, and I've watched A LOT OF tutorials on this. Plus the thumb tacks, again looks high end. I just finished recreating the painted twine vase at 1:41 & it seriously looks so pretty & expensive!! Im new to DIYs, & tbh I cant believe I was able to take a plain old vase that was just collecting dust in the back of a shelf & turn it into a super cute decorative vase that Im actually looking forward to using, its such an awesome feeling :^D
Im def going to be doing more of this channels projects, sending a huge amount of love & appreciation their way!

I love the rope vase! An FYI maybe you guys can tell your subs I was at DT today 6//15, they are once again making their jute rope smaller! 🙄 it’s going down to a lil over 7’. Vase with the twine = my favorite. Color on the bottom kicked it up .The bowl w/ succulents and box were cool projects too but above my skill level. Go figure- sw engineer here but afraid of creating measurements for foam-based box 🤣🤣
