This Episode I am working on the bow and stern transom.
We are building a sailing dingy called the Nutshell Pram. My wife and I are planning on doing some long sails on a 45’ Yawl and we wanted a light and reliable tender to go with us. It can be rowed or sailed but I also plan on installing an electric outboard off the bow to assist when there is no wind, and I am too tired to row.
    Designed by Joel White
    LOA - 9' 6"
    LWL - 7' 10"
    Beam - 4' 4"
    Draft (cb up) - 5"
    (cb down) - 1' 11"
    Weight about 100 lbs.
Sail Area : 55 sq. ft.
These plans were purchased from www.woodenboatstore.com

I am a total noob. I thought with full size plans, you could just transfer the lines onto the wood using an awl then connecting the dots instead of transferring all measurements. Is that possible or way off as a thought?
Thanks for your series. I have a 7'7" nutshell but am looking to build the 9'6" version and this really helps.
