Kishore da was great no doubt, without having learnt classical he was still the mainstream singer and sang some marvelous melodies.. no one could copy his voice modulation.. However as a singer with versatility and with classical base.. I feel Rafi Sahab were the all rounder of that era.. may it be sad, fast, cheerful, classical, dinchak.. all types of songs were sung by Rafi Sahab. I am not comparing, but then Manna da or Mahendra Kapoor themselves have agreed that Rafi Sahab was the best amongst all..
