I know this doesn’t make sense but I kinda like the way McFarlane sculptuted the older predators, somthin about it makes it look like a comic book feel too it
I ordered this guy a day before hurricane sandy and to my surprise he came 3 days after I ordered him and he's my favorite predator so that made my week! :-)
Plus with Lance Hendrickson (who played the android Bishop in "Aliens" & "Alien 3") is in the movie, and also the girl who played Arnold Schwarzenegger's hostage in the first Predator movie makes a cameo apperance such a great movie for fans of both "Alien & Predator", thank you Stan Winston for creating these creatures for us if you are listening up in heaven.
@@Solid_Snake98 At the beginning of the movie where scientists were tracking satellite images of a temple underneath Antarctica, we see Elpidia Carrilo's face at the reflection on the computer screen.
No the scar is a blooded hunter while the celtic and chopper where young bloods so they dont have shoulder cannons only scar has one but mcfarlane added the cannon to cecltic and chopper
@junkyturd yeah I mean 6-7 inch ones. Of course the HT preds are better figures but 1 of them costs the same as this whole series does lol. Can't really compare since they're a different scale.
"Alien Vs. Predator" was 1 of my favorite movies, it's full of action, and it's was so enjoyable watching the hapless humans getting killed by the Aliens & the Predators, plus watching the Alien & Predator using their trademark killing moves that we seen in the movies on each other. The movie felt like a crossover it didn't feel like a Predator sequel or an Alien prequel (remember Alien movies took place in the future).
hey spot are you going to review avp series 2 or any other mcfarlane aliens or predator?btw i actually really liked all the alien and predator movies...including avp and avpr but then again im a huge avp fan
Liked it. The movie ended in a tie which I liked. I personally was on the side of the Predators, being the loyal Predator fan that I am. My favorite part is where the Alien is attacking and a Predator flies over it's head and stabs it with its spear.
THOSE AVP MCFARLANE PREDATOR IS SO EXPENSIVE NOWADAYS.THEY DONT WORTH SO MUCH , THEY WORTH MOST IS $60. THEIR CONNON IS SO OVERKILL AND THE EXTRA BLADE IS JUST TOO................

The movie is awesome but the only thing that I am dissapointed is the timeline I expect that the A.V.P movie would occur on the distant future it would make the movie more explosive and thrilling

I actually liked both the AvP movies both for different reasons really, I liked the first for the characters and the "heroic" Scar Predator. And I liked Requiem for it's action and being more classic to the Predator style of hiding, I also did like the main Predator "Wolf" in Requiem he was what I imagined a single predator would be like fighting Aliens. A few lines in Requiem weren't great but I thought it was acted well enough. Just think the ending was a little well crap, decent movie though
can't wait to see NECA remake these predators they will be much better than these McFarlane predators and this time there will be all three of the predators that were in the movie
Strongpiccolo56 Yeah... No. Hot Toys is overpriced when you get great detail for a reasonable price from NECA. The Chopper Predator from Hot Toys is $1000! It doesn't even look that great!

I realy liked both of the AVP movies. In AVP one the predators did use those big wrist blades.

To me the best AVP movie won't have any humans or dialog. Just a mob of aliens, a handful or predators and 94 min of spacehulk fighting... oh yeah.
I actually did like AVP. I think the main character female could have been better but it was good.

the quality of these figures was all over the place, the predators seemed like cheap knock offs compared to the aliens
