I saw that and died
I, for some reason, can clearly see the last level of the game. You just play with link, with no objective, no capturen point, no boss. You are on that place behind twin peaks stable. Guardians spawn, continuosly non stop. You never stop fighting them. You cant win, as the level only ends when you die, which would trigger that cinematic you see on the last memory (zelda's awakening)

Oi, doesn't remind you of Zack? I can totally imagine that happening. You start maybe with 50 soldiers around you, then they steadily perish and you are left alone, breaking the sword in the process and guardians just keep coming in endless waves... Then what comes after would be many sheikas fighting to death while carrying Link to the Shrine of Resurrection and Zelda dealing with her new awakened powers with hundreds of demons and guardians at the same time.

Revali is just constantly a jerk to everyone around him, especially Link, because he thinks he should have Link's job. That's why people don't like him.

In the trailer you see Link approaching a red Moblin with a soldiers shield and broadsword, meaning that he might have more than just the master sword. (Also is anyone else confused why Link throws a Shiekah Slate Remote Bomb Rune WITHOUT THE SHIEKAH SLATE????)
The 100 years weakened the master sword, meaning that before, in the prequel, the sword is perfecly fine, meaning it won't broke.

Yeah in one of the books it shows that the concept was for the giant pillars to be guardian storage units that they'd be ejected from, but by taking control of the pillars Ganon got control of all of guardians within too

The new thing in the book was that how they came out in the trailer was supposed to be seen in BotW. Including the screw motion.

It's a spin-off, but its canon. Just like Rogue One or Han Solo, that's the coolest part about all this, the fact that Nintendo its starting to make spin-off games canon, just opens a lot of possibilities.

Honestly, Zelda saying 'I must protect everyone' gives me so many chills. I'm so exited to get more context for before the calamity and to see hyrule without all the destruction as BOTW was my first Zelda game. I also love the Hyrule warrior play style (I did some research) and think it's perfect for what this prequel will provide for us. I'm also hoping for a deeper look into the relationships between the champions and the princess etc. And can't wait to watch a playthrough that I hope you will put on youtube 😊
The thing about the towers is literally explained in the game. It's also explained that Calamity Ganon corrupted the towers and turned them against all inhabitants of Hyrule.

HourglassHorse It’s about the creation of the game, but it covers a bit of the lore as well. In Japan it was called Masterworks but in English it’s called Creating a Champion. If you’re a fan of BotW (which I would assume you are because you’re watching this) I'd recommend it, it’s full of neat features and is really interesting. I’ll edit my above comment to provide a link.

The Guardians emerging from the pillars was actually shown in concept art in Creating a Champion, we just haven’t seen it in action until now
I actually didn't know that the guardians were coming out of those weird thingies around the castle, too. But a few days ago i decided to read the master works book a bit and i then found out that they stored the guardians there! I always asked myself why there are these thingies around the castle and where all the gurdians came from, but this is really cool!
