What is tyre pressure is now after upgade?
25 psi for snow riding. 28 psi for offroad. And 32 to 34 for On Road. At 32 and 34 psi the ride becomes a bit bumpy but the mileage is quite good.
Did you notice any change in road/tyre noise?
There is a little noise compared to stock tires but it is negligible. Mud terrain tires will have more noise. All Terrain tires have very low noise.
Hi is yokohoma 215 AT or 215 AT LT that you have installed ?
I have installed Yokohama Geolander AT 215/75/R15 Thai made tyres with white lettering on side walls. The grooves in Indian made Geolander are quite small.

Mileage me drop nhi hua Brother baaki Snow or Mud me performance bahut badiya ho gya. Top speed mene abhi 100 km/h tak hi le gya kyunki idhar wese road nhi hai jahan bahut tez chala sakein. Stock tyres se bahut achhe hein.
Agar install karna hai to Thai made hi lgana Indian made wala acha nhi hai. 👍

I didn't sell my stock tyres to dealer. They were offering me only Rs 2500 so I did not sell them. Right now I have listed it for sale on OLX and Facebook.
Hi, Whats the air pressure in your 215 tyres?
30 or 32 PSI for Highway. This is how you will get the best mileage. For off-road you can reduce tire pressure. Recently I went for a snow ride and had 26 PSI tire pressure. 👍
@@BLACK_IBEX thanks for sharing this information. I just read somewhere that the highway pressure should be around 26 to 27 psi while 19 to 20 for off road and 9-10 for snow. 32 makes car drive really heavy.
@@abhimanyudayal1259 Depends on person to person. But what you recommended is very less. This parameter may be fine for stock tires.
@@BLACK_IBEXsorry buddy but tyre pressure does not depend from person to person. The way to correctly calculate the tyre pressure is by adding the width percentage increase and the side wall height percentage increase. Then take that total percentage and subtract it from the pressure recomended on your door sticker. That’s your new tyre pressure when upsizing. If it would have been a size +1 (205’s) then you can use the oem pressure but not when upsizing it by almost 20 mm.

@@BLACK_IBEX On 32 I experienced bumpy ride. I changed it to 29. Actually it should be 28 as per calculations.
On tyre it’s mentioned that for 760 kg load, tyre pressure is 50.
Jimny load with 4 people is around say.. 1700 kg.
760 by 4 tyres is 3040 kg. For 1700 kg load, the correct tyre pressure should be 28. This is for a better ride quality.

What abt warranty from maruti ?
While taking delivery, I had asked the agency people that if I change the tyre, will it affect my warranty, their answer was no. If you install after market rims in it then your warranty will be affected but if you upgrade the tire on stock rim only then it will not affect the warranty. 👍

First of all the height of Jimny will be increased. Ground clearance is reduced without any lift kit. Looks are also very good. If these tires are reviewed then I would rate them to be the best. I recently tested tires in snow and found very good grip.
If you also want to drive snow then you must install these tires.
And As such I did not feel much error in the speedometer. Error is possible but absolutely minimal.
215 or 225, these two sizes are best to upgrade and these tires are not touching anywhere.
235 size Tires are definitely touching fender lining during articulation, hence if you have to upgrade from 235 size then it is necessary to lift the vehicle. 👍
