Great take on this scent 👍🏿. I’ve worn this many time in the tropics in the office as we all know...everywhere has some elements of climate control...I also tend to reach for it when I travel overseas which is normally a full day ordeal. I’ve never had a bad reaction and it’s does pull lots of compliments.

I know that they could not be compared side by side but am only asking about which has a better performance

Nicely done, Timmy. I've recently bought this fragrance because it isn't readily available anymore. My all time favourite was Valentino Uomo Intense but this fragrance..after i sniffed it, it became my all time favourite instantly. It is the best designer scent IMO performance wise and scent wise as well.
Great review. But bro idk where you’re getting that $80-$95 price range on eBay for this fragrance. Every listing I’ve seen for it has always been around $150+ bc of how hard it is to find now. And I still saw those prices around the time that this video was uploaded lol I’ve never seen a full bottle of it for less than $100 on eBay
The one I have is one of the batches that is the same except it doesn't project, so I use it as signature scent.
This is a SOLID MASTERPIECE. The GOAT of MENS PERFUMES. 10/10 for sure. Bought my pair at Dubai Duty Free, for 100mls each 125 US dollars = 110 Euros. I think this is a good bargain.
one of the great things about being in korea is that they sell dior homme parfum at all the dior shops so it was easy for me to buy. however, i haven't checked if its still around now that dior homme 2020 is out...

Is there a version of Dior Homme perfume size 150ml or just 75 ml and 100ml???
I had been trying to get this one for a couple of years, my lady went to Egypt last week and I asked to look for it for me. she got it at a duty free and knowing how much I wanted this one she bought me two extra bottles,. beyond stoked to have this one. definitely a 10/10 fragrance. when it comes to sprays less is more with this beast
I also use dior Homme Parfum for the summer, but the secret is take 1-2 spritzes + dior homme 2020 add 2 spritzes then you can easily wear it and that also in summer! and yes the quality is the king of scents I perfumed myself in the elevator in the morning and in the evening the scent was so strong in the elevator that I briefly thought who has such a good scent here 😂 yes, the king of scents 😉
I just bought it on the Dior site they really cut out the perfume for 134 euros plus dior sauvage fragrance and shower gel in travel size + Eden roc in travel size + 2 fragrance samples of your choice 😎 Awesome thanks Dior
the first hour or so of DH intense reminds me extremely of prada l'homme (due to the heavy iris i guess). is this the same way with DH parfum? aka, is the parfum also heavy on the iris topnote?

I just got my Dior Homme Parfum and I was underwhelmed. The leather or Iris was to much on first spray . Several hours later on the dry down it becomes a soft powdery body scent but not complex . I personally like TF Noir Parfum , PDM Herod , TF Tobacco Vanille better .
I haven't seen this fragrance under 130$, Where can you get it for under 100$?

Are 2020 batches still good?
It is very hard to find a 75ml bottle (for less than 140 dollars) at the moment, and I am worried they might have reformulated/watered down the new 100ml bottle.
Fragrancenet has them right now for 110 after 37 coupon

I love this stuff , it's the only one from the line that I like enough to own. Not for the performance ( it doesn't hurt though)
I prefer the composition than any other.

I agree with you completely. The Parfum is the only one in the line that I really love and own. I think the biggest factor is the leather note that makes it smell decidedly masculine, unlike the others.
Addendum I smell the perfume after 1 week in the elevator and I just sprayed myself not hit the elevator! just awesome
There are basically two versions of this fragrance one more irisy, the other more leathery. I prefer batches with more iris.

DHP is my favourite smelling fragrance , wear it a lot more than DHI

All the 75 ml bottles have basically the same performance and smell in my opinion, can't comment on the new 100 ml bottles tho

Timmy, you say don't pay more the $100 for it but the only place I could find it has it for $129. It's not very accessible.
At the end of the day, that's just my suggestion. Of course if that's the only price available to you, there's not a lot of options for what to do.

I just picked up a bottle with batch code 9K01, and the bottle looks legit but the "Parfum" on the front of the bottle is smooth and not pushing out like "Dior Homme" above it. Is it supposed to be like this? Also the cap seems to be a little tight comapred to my other Dior Homme bottles.
For gods sake......the cap is slightly tighter?! Is that really something for concern!

I bought it in 2019 spring and I can't say it's a beast. I can get only 6-7 max. Projection is good only for 1 h. Could it be reformulated?
I have a November 2019 batch and it performs. Did a half spray and could still get the smell 16 hours later. Probably all depends on your body chemistry and climate in your area.
I have two bottles, one from 2017 and one from 2019, they both perform the exact same, at least 12 hours on skin and 2-3 hours projection.
I have a 2015 - 24h +
Pretty weird. I have 4 bottles from 2016.2018.2019 no difference whatsoever. I think the longevity thing is a nose issue

Dior Homme Eau is also discontinued and Dior Homme Intense hasn’t been available in the US for awhile now 😢

Great fragrance, good dressed up or casual. As long as you look sharp it’s all good. But you don’t need a suit and tie to wear this. IMHO

Note: try to get the old version 75 ml not the new version 100 ml to know what the king means!!
For me, the new 100 ml is totally different specially at the opening, slightly different in the middle similarity 80% to the old one and in the dry down 90% similarity. In the performance, the new one 100ml is 30% less than the old version. In the scent, the new version becomes simple only (wood and iris and creamy) and more wearable while the old version 75 ml has more depth and more notes in addition to the new one notes such as dark chocolate, rose, leather and oud. The blend in old version is so rich like nishe quality.
To sum up, the new version is the diet version of the old one.

Yes you are right. The new DHP tends to be normal designer fragrance not niche quality and not beast mode. Unfortunately, It is disappearing from the market day by day if you find it, grab it with no hesitation!!

I have it this beauty beasty and believe me it’s the beastest of all in my collection.i have Tom Ford TV,oud satin mood MFK,amouage reflection and PDM Layton,but this beast is really way better then all those in performance.

I hate to say this I found dhp at an airport and it was different, firstly it now comes in a 100ml but it’s in the new different bottle and the juice was lighter like older dhi so guess what it’s been reformed
Nope , that would have been the new Dior homme 2020, the 100ml Dior homme parfum, comes in the exact same bottle but the profile around the juice is less thicker to allow for more room for the extra 25ml.
I purchased 4 bottles whilst I could , even after a shower can still smell 8 to 10 hours later , seriously what the fuck !

Bruh it’s going for $265-500 now on EBay depending on the year. The new 2020 is averaging $300 while older batches are $350-400+. DONT be mad lol I was barely able to find it for $200
