This song was requested by so many of you guys I thought I start off my return with the game song remake you guys have been anticipating the most! Donkey Kong Rescued! I always loved the credits themes for DKC 1&2. They really drive home that you completed an epic journey and are slowly walking away from the explosions without looking back, like a cool guy. 😎
This is a great remake, and quite fitting, with K. Rool emerging in Smash Ultimate, again in need of vanquishing.
You've heard the remix of this song by David Wise, Robin Beanland and Eveline Fischer, right? Gotta say I like the master's work a bit better, but yours has a much more natural flow, like the original. Easy to get lost in it, just listening to it go on and on... Just soak it in.
Hey thanks alot for takin the time to comment. And yeah, I had completely forgot about the ending songs until people mentioned it and I was like, "Holy crap! I have to do that one eventually!" But yeah it's Mainly my goal to make listenable great music that sticks to the original compositions as much as possible. Glad you liked it!
I’m gonna be a bit of a contrarian here, I kinda prefer this to the actual composer’s remix. I feel the guitar overpowers Wise, Kirkhope, and Beanland’s rendition. It just doesn’t have the same feel as a result for me. Less like the end of an adventure, more like a concert piece. This version captures the essence of the moment a lot better. Oddly enough, and this is usually the one criticism for me with JGS’ remixes, but slowing down the pace of the song actually helps with this one. Gives the sense of finality time to sink in

Awesome remix of an awesome track. Really captures the feeling of having completed your journey, faced your worst fears, probably got beaten up and bruised in the process, but you still came out on top and proved yourself worthy. And now, with the bad guy's fortress in ruins, you and your buddies begin the long walk back home, exhausted yet victorious.

I remember completing this game and feeling like I was invincible music still drives that point home and now more than ever with this remake. Incredible.

Oh absolutely! I think I speak for all of us when I say, we died in that game hundreds of times and dealt with so much stress in order to get to the end so that last song and credits made us cry lol

Hey, what about that one soundtrack in the game where Donkey Kong gets kidnapped, y'know the one where after you've finished The very last level of K. Rool's Keep? If you haven't did a remake of that already, that'd sound really cool!

It was very beautiful to say the truth, however, unlike your other DKC remakes, this one does not look so much like the original SNES, but it's still very cool :)
