- This excerpt from our upcoming LACO SummerFest Concert, “Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet” features Florence Price’s “Adoration”. Originally written for organ, Principal Clarinet Joshua Ranz was inspired to arrange this work for clarinet quintet after hearing it performed by fellow clarinetist Anthony McGill.
Florence Price is noted as the first African-American woman to have a composition played by a major orchestra. Price composed "Adoration" in 1951 and she passed on in 1952.

Beautiful arrangement! Where could I purchase this sheet music?
Great question, Rachael! It was arranged by Principal Clarinet Joshua Ranz. I’d recommend you visit his personal website for this inquiry (also check out his new album that drops April 2021). joshuaranz.com
i guess it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?

@Gordon Shiloh Thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :D Appreciate it!!
@Amir Dariel Happy to help xD
A beautiful arrangement of this wonderful piece! Joshua Ranz is an absolute magician on the clarinet and he plays with such fine sensitivity - careful not to be overbearing in such a small ensemble, and I've never heard a clarinet sound better- so clear, pure and expressive! EVERY musician here is a master.
Full of soul with a "liquid gold sound" in all instruments but especially the clarinet. Bravo
moving performance.. one day gonna watch you performing this beautiful rendition
Beautiful Vocal Playing by Mr. Ranz
