It's one thing to endorse the first and second Caliph for the unity of Ummah but it's tragic that despite knowing fully that RasulAllah has made Hazrat Ali his Wasi, his Successor and everyone give bayah to Hazrat Ali on ghadeer khumm day. This ummah wouldn't have divided and gone through so much fitna and fasad if the rightful owner was given his due status. That's the reason we are in current state because we left the Ahlulbait who were made our leaders by RasulAllah as there is no separation between political and spiritual matters in Islam, when Islam went into the hands of families other than the family of RasulAllah, it got destroyed and that's the summary of our current problems and decline and unless and until we reinstate the family of RasulAllah as the rightful leader and authority for Muslim ummah , we can never revive as ummah.

How could baiyat take place for khilafat when after nabumwat,Prophet Muhammad sw had, declared Imamat on the occassion of Ghadeer. He never mentioned khilafat and Imamat both together. Khilafat in intself means opposition which the khalids declared against Imamat. It is as simple as that. Hazrat Ali as had no greed for power except that he was obliged to follow what Prophet sw ordained him to do on behalf of Allah. To save Islam and muslims from further confusions and violence he stayed quiet and did his homework of protecting Islam . Pls clear your concept.
