I want to give you a heads up when it comes to ecotank printers. I found out the hard way that unless you use them very regularly they have a tendency of clogging. Unlike regular printers where the ink cartridges hold the ink and keep everything moist, with an ecotank printer, the ink is kept in a tank usually in the front of the printer and then the ink travels through lines into a 2nd holding tank and finally into the printer heads. I hope this information helps. 🙏 poppy
Thank you, I am very aware as I have gone through 2 epson eco tank printers that both died on me because of that issue. If you watch to the end of the video I do address this and how this printer comes with an easily replaceable print head that only costs 43$ so if it gets clogged you don’t have to throw out the whole printer.
@@FloatyTattoo Thank you for the heads up about the heads. I have taken it apart and cleared my Epson eco tank but won’t refill until I need to print every day. I just wish I would have known this issue before buying one. Thanks for the great videos you make to inform tattooers. 🙏 Poppy
Please review how long these stencils last! One of the biggest problems with the epson printer with electrum stencil ink is that the stencils do not last long.
Will do! I have already done a couple of 4 hour long tattoos with them and the stencils stayed on great, you can see one in my most recent live stream from yesterday for a mandala hand tattoo.
@@FloatyTattoo thanks for the reply!! I am excited to see more tests on these stencils because I want to do mandalas that take 4-8hrs or smaller anime designs with lots of detail so I need the stencil to last.
