So a wee share...
Not just in singing but all sorts of human ways ..
I used sing May Morning Dew after learning it from one of our greats (Robbie McMahon of spancil hill). After he arrived to his heavenly reward, I just let it slip away.. still feel like I'm processing his goin away from the earthly plane.. he was my biggest singing mentor and a beautiful friend.
Anyway just lastnight (only 7 years later .. 🙄), didn't I have a lash at it when me eyes fell on the words +chords of it in me ould songbook..
I guess 7 yrs is the right time to have let the sting come out of death and begin to allow love back in to life.. maybe
Anyway the ease and grace of the song returned with no trouble at all ..
I thought
There is a prince of a song; try anyone to make a hames of it , but it's a song that just *can't* go wrong if one chooses to sing it.
But
cheeky me decided to see what else covers of it sounded like these days..
This cover here by Siobhán Miller of course popped up.

to my crappy internet reception, but I wasn't able to load the video for hours...
And tonight (I mean next morning, since tis after midnight now), I finally gets to hear and see.
