How does length, tension and mass per unit length affect the frequency of a standing wave on a string??
This video was made to aid students in April 2020 complete the practical component of their A-Level Physics course. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were unable to come to the laboratory to carry out this practical.
After students have watched the introduction, they must pause the video (4:00) and answer some questions
The results on this video (5:34) can be used to plot a graph, and the mass per unit length of the string can be worked out.
