Odd, I know you've probably seen this and who knows maybe I'm wrong. Stuns my dude. The legate does not say they are stun immune. Every requiem unit has a weakness. Stunning as far as I'm aware isn't a mental effect.
Need to keep doing Meld Extraction, that queue is currently empty. Also there's some soldiers that were on covert ops that are low enough level to get GTS training.
Personally, I think the dodges are actually a useful mechanic (though I could understand narrowing the band a bit). Dodges limit one of the biggest sources of power creep that can trivialize the late-game: that your soldiers all have so much aim that almost any shot is 100%. The dodges just mean you have to work a little harder for longer in the campaign to ensure that you give your soldiers the best possible hit chances, and plan a little more redundancy into your kills so you can account for the low-damage hits. Honestly, most of your dodge-related frustration has been from the Hunter, who just happens to have two abilities that stack his dodge to very high levels.
Ugh, youtube autoplay failed me HARD. Just finished 144 and suddenly I hear about a death at the start. Wait a minute, checks number, goddamn it. Title of 145 is selfexplanatory now I guess..
when I saw the mech on the back of the skyranger at the videos beginning, I thought it was "Petrol" at first,......I'm sure several of the others on the strike team felt the same way. 😢
I mean, I can understand the frustration withunlucky dodges, but I'd say if the chance for a dodge on the shot preview is just plain higher than the chance for a regular hit like at 24:44 then maybe I would just expect a dodge rather than expect a hit and get frustrated.
Imagine being the hunter. The last one left, a smug, angry nihilist and your siblings (?) are both dead. It would have been an awesome twist if instead of going up against x-com he would choose to save his ass and partner with them against the elders. would have been interesting.
Hey Chris have you seen indiana jones and the great circle? I've heard lots of people saying that it was their game of the year for 2024 and it looks right up your alley.
Hi Mr Odd. Just wondering if you were planning on playing the new ff7 now that its out on Pc? Loved your playthrough of the first one so was hoping to see you pick up Rebirth.
So commander I know we are close to the end but have you checked out the new multiplayer for age of darkness final stand the they are billions medieval clone?
This campaign is longer than he would like. Shouldve ended last year. I blame Covert Infiltration, needs adjustment. Long War is just as long but twice as interesting.
@n173w0lf Well it's his channel, I was just asking because I miss the "set the vibe", his way of play and immerse myself into new games. XCOM was nice for a while, now it's just repetitive and boring for me. Just my 2cents, no hate or disrespect, just curious and my point of view. I understand people that like this and if he is enjoying, great.
Xcom is his specialty and bread and butter on his channel... plus, dont know if you've noticed, theres been absolutely TRASH and like nothing coming out lately, at all. Its been a dry desert out there!
@@two2truths Well I agree with you in both points you made. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean he can't do another games on the side, even old ones. But I understand that that takes time, work and the algorithm may not be kind in views.
My honest question, was to understand if this channel has become a XCOM only focused channel or not. And it's a valid question so I can understand and redirect my attention elsewhere. I miss old "set the vibe odd", but life goes one.
Oh god…he still hasn’t realized he’s using temnotic rifles…
Mr Odd.
Loving all the new and lesser used abilities on display.
Every video just keeps getting more intense.
Keep up the great work.
night dive is such a cool ability,.. very very different
+1 The animation combo used on it is sick.

9:49 Well, now I have this sound clip for my daily affirmation 🧘♂
Every day 6:00 am
Need to keep doing Meld Extraction, that queue is currently empty. Also there's some soldiers that were on covert ops that are low enough level to get GTS training.
I can't believe that nade didn't drop foehn, and night dive is so RAD! what a great episode!
Cool concept ability, pretty clean mission.
Finished this batch of episodes, waiting for the next ones - thank you, Commander!
46:25 wise choice commander... 😂😂😂

And a couple of his soldiers have the opportunity to take a skill that basically says "Enemies can't dodge your shots."

I don't like how they dodge even when stunned or immobilized, but maybe it's a programming issue that they can't get around of?
I think I would hate dodges too, except that you hate them so much and your vocal reaction is SO entertaining!
I love Bobby's build, I really want to have him see more action because of how fun his build seems to be.

"Why is this my life?"
That's a quote that can be used for so many situations.

24:52 Please take dodge out, it fails to reward your good plays and fails to punish your bad plays.
Agreed. It’s also redundant when you already have grazes.
14:54 Odd has reached the Acceptance stage of the campaign
0:47 You were right.
...Why does he keep using temnotics when he has beams?
So commander I know we are close to the end but have you checked out the new multiplayer for age of darkness final stand the they are billions medieval clone?
guess requesting a double video upload today for my birthday is just ridiculous and asking too much!? 🤣😂 I gotta try at least!
Chris at least remove dodge from all disable enemies!!!! (Blind, shaken, frozen, slow, undead, ecc)
is there a sane person that has played this campaign til the end?
Just curious Odd, you only play Xcom now? Miss the day's when you played other games.
