I agree with what you were saying about the daily duo just being two columns. I looked into plum paper for awhile, and while I wanted to like all the different boxes and spaces to write, I do so much better with less structure so I can use it however I need each day.

Thank you for this review. I had no idea that Makse Life had a daily planner option. I would love it EC would offer the daily in one book and not have the hours since I work nights.

I love the EC Daily Duo and Daily Petite as well. I love the plain columns and the flexibility of the pages, great paper and sizes. This was a great review and love how you showed your days written in on both. So similar but both so different at the same time.

Thank you! I definitely agree with the design and flexibility of the pages. I loved seeing my planning style in both but like you said so different at the same time ❤️ thanks for watching!

I am currently a Happy Planner but I don't like their daily (or lack of one). Now I want both Maske and EC! I think I would like the Maske (not daily) for goals only. The issue I have with the EC is the hours listed do not fit my needs, is this something that can be changed? Can you add more blank pages when ordering as well? Thank you for this video it was helpful.

So the Makselife companion notebooks or flagship might be good for you if you really want it for the goalsetting aspect! Ive seen people use the skinny washi with times on it that you can now purchase from several places to cover up the current times in the EC and make it more their schedule 🥰 I also dont think adding more pages is an option. Hopefully thats an option with this years launch!

@@KatieKPlans Thank you so much, I will look in the companion notebooks! I thought of that for the EC times, maybe I could use washi strips to cover as well.

I use the EC Daily Duo. I white out the times on the left-hand side and use that side to journal throughout the day. The right is used as the To-Do side. I like to have a place where I can write down things without flipping back and forth to different parts in a planner. Everything on one page so that I can see it. I cover up the month with a sticker, it's a waste of space to have it on every page.
Thank you for comparing the two.

Thats such a creative idea on how to repurpose the daily. I agree with the monthly calendar, I dont need to see that everyday. Thanks for watching ❤️

I’m sure this video is helpful for someone looking to decide which daily would work better. I had a hard time justifying the cost of purchasing 4 daily planners which is why I decided to try the MakseLife system by getting their undated 6 month inserts (vertical weekly). But I missed daily planning too much. Hopefully they can offer an alternative to these daily’s that is similar to the companion notebooks so you can get all at once without each book duplicating the initial goal setting pages. This way it would be cheaper.

I can understand that. I felt that same as far as feeling like I had to rewrite all my goals out when pulling out a new daily. I think theyre taking all the feedback to really improve for the 2023 launch!
