@@kcsounds Thanks, your video was helpful. Your statement "...done is better than perfection got me..". I'm that type that constantly drives for perfection forgetting to know that my perfection may not match up to other's perfection. In the end, I sometimes get exhausted and bored and even just abandoned things feeling frustrated that it isn't getting perfect. I have started several beats and didn't finish due to this attitude...Love from Liberia.
@@wonder_world24I’ve worked with a lot of artists who are similar and have left songs on the shelf because of this. My thing is-if you consistently put out music, and look back in a years time, you’ll see how much you’ve progressed
Paused vid at start to comment, I would say the most fundamental things to make music sound good is good melody, good chords can be complex but less is often more. Understand Reverb, EQ, mixing and stereo dynamics and panning and understanding that sound selection if key. Good sounds dont need much to make them sound good, if you have a wall of plugins in a desperate attempt to make a sound work in a mix then its probably not a good sound to start with.
First here watching...if you see this in 3024, I was here on 23/09/24.
I’ve pinned your comment.
Cheers for watching
