    I used to drink ACV daily, however I have since learned something that made me stop. When we drink ACV, it encounters salt in the body, a chemical reaction occurs and this can result in chronic dehydration. When someone consumes apple cider vinegar, the vinegar begins to draw water from cells and organs, and places the water in the wrong places in the body. This can give someone the illusion that they have lost weight, but in truth, their body is just dehydrated from the vinegar. Not only can vinegar deeply dehydrate the body, but it can pickle organs as it reacts to salt and then draws water from cells and organs, allowing toxins to penetrate deeper into organ tissue. Eating apples everyday, several times a day and drinking lemon water is a much better idea as apples and lemon water help with digestion. Someone commented below about lemon juice and ACV causing tooth enamel issues. I am a Dental Hygienist and that is caused by ACV not lemon water! Fresh squeezed lemon in water is so healthy and will not hurt the enamel on your teeth. Please read Medical Medium by Anthony William. He has 8 life changing books. I would start with Liver Rescue!

      You are right on the mark. I have read the same info. Liver flush is very good for all of us and lemon juice as well on a daily basis. Thanks.

      I disagree water has some slight acidity then adding lemon does make it more acidic. If you drink it at one time like with any soft drink then it is ok. Sipping on lemon water isn’t good for your teeth. Fermentation has been around for years and is good for your gut. You can overdo anything. 1 tablespoon or less a day and that is if you are perfect and truly do it everyday seems a stretch to cause damage.

    I have always loved ACV (or ANY vinegar, for that matter - great grandparents were Belgian immigrants and I love malt vinegar on potatoes and fries) so the taste really doesn’t need to be doctored up for me, but I do love all of these ingredients so I add the raw honey, lemon juice and cayenne. I will try to remember to drink some twice a day now. I have been trying to remember to do the Asian squat daily and am starting to lift my free weights along with you. My legs are sore today from yesterday’s vibration plate squats and that can only be a good thing! I have to do this!

There is 16 tablespoons in a cup so at 21 servings a week, you must do all 3 servings to get 2 tablespoons of ACV. This recipe makes it great-- we can start slow and work up to 3 servings! Thank you!

    I want to share my own experience with tooth enamel issues when I was on a lemon juice and ACV phase which was for about 3 years. My dentist noticed and was very concerned and couldn’t figure out why I was having a problem. I put 2 and 2 together and stopped the regimen. For the past 4 years the enamel damage has not gotten any worse and the dentist checks thoroughly at each visit. It can be a real problem for some. Instead, I make a salad dressing with both ingredients and get the benefits without the damage. Kimberly, your enthusiasm and open heart whenever you share a new “project” is endearing!

    Hi Kimberly, you know I love your videos and your wonderful personality. ACV is indeed proven to have many health benefit, but this recipe raises a few red flags for me: (1) you mention weight loss and blood sugars several times throughout the video… yet… 14 tablespoons of honey and molases per day? Oh my, sure honey has wonderful properties, but both honey and molases have high glycemic index (though slightly lower than sugar) and will spike blood sugars, so I feel adding them in such great quantities to a recipe geared at stabilizing blood sugars and loosing weight is counter-productive. (2) Once your lemon is pressed, its wonderful properties and vitamins deplete rapidly over time… so it’s best to press the lemon just before drinking it. (3) lemon juice and ACV are highly acidic and can really attack the enamel of your teeth when consumed on a daily basis. Certainly, “sipping” this drink is not recommended for the health of your teeth. For this reason, my dentist recommended i drink the ACV as fast as possible (I do a “shot”), and then brush my teeth immediately afterwards. I hope this helps my friend, you are fabulous!

    I can attest to the fact that by using a very similar ACV recipe I lost weight, less belly bloating and more regular elimination. My skin looked great too! I did notice that my teeth started to get sensitivity and that concerned me enough to stop using the ACV regimen. I also tried using a straw to drink it but still the tooth sensitivity issues persisted. There are ACV capsules available. I still drink about a teaspoon of ACV in a half glass of water for occasional acid reflux and it works very well for heartburn, within 20-30 mins.

      That’s nice to know about helping heartburn. You’d think it would make it worse, funny how that works ! 😀

    • @Trudence2
      @Trudence2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@debbiewalker273 Yes and ACV can make heartburn worse in some people who have an over abundance of stomach acid but I have low stomach acid which means that I don't fully digest food and that can cause gas bubbles to rise into my esophagus and throat carrying stomach acid with them. The ACV water mixture works well for me in this case.

      @@Trudence2 Thanks, nice to know, and glad it helps you. ☺️ I haven’t been diagnosed by a Gastro Dr, but I get burning in my esophagus
      also. 🤔 I’ve had that going on since my 20’s & am 62 now. There’s a surgical procedure that can be done to repair the area that lets the acid come through, and thinking of having it done. Sorry, don’t know the medical terms, but my Sister had hers repaired years ago, and cured her heartburn problem.

    I bought all the ingredients with the exception of the molasses, store did not have, but found online that you can use corn syrup and brown sugar in equal amounts to replace the molasses. I tired this yesterday, and the taste is okay. I take a total of three tablespoons a day at the appropriate times. Looking forward to the results. Thanks for your video and recipe.

      Hope you find organic molasses as it will give you zinc, potassium, B, minerals etc. You get none of that with brown sugar and corn syrup which are terrible for your health and totally the opposite of what this drink is supposed to do for you.

    Such great advice! I have been drinking ACV for years but always sporadic because the taste is so harsh. Looking forward to making this! Also i took my before photos as you suggested last week. What a rude awakening but so necessary. Can’t wait for the “afters”!!❤
