That blue colour (as seen in the hangar, not the paint shop) is very striking. If I had a helicopter, that’s the exact same shade of blue that I would opt for.
Fascinating. So very interesting watching paint dry. I think the high gloss looks great. Does it reflect the sunlight long distance ? That would be good for added visibility and thus overall safety.
I'm wondering why the extra avionics, the environmental units, and flotation system wasn't done at Bell? I can see the paint scheme and interior motif being done by a third party but you would think that actual components would have been done by the manufacturer.

Does the 407 accept a weather radar like the H135/45 ?
No, currently it only receives FIS-B or XM weather.
